I woke up with a burning desire for an early morning walk, so I took a random course that led me to the colorful steps. I went up and down the steps, then up again. I decided to go further up and ended up under the Queen Juliana Bridge. A nice view except for some cars on blocks, a sign that a car mechanic is in the area. You can see the harbor and cruise ships on the way down. I went under the almond tree up there, slipped on almond pods, and hurt my right leg. After my leg recuperates, I will be back up there early morning. See the photo with the almond tree, so avoid walking under it or watch your step if you go there.
