Shopping at Farmers has always been fun and exciting, until today (27/10/2022). So I went through their tights and stockings section and couldn't find what I was looking for. There was a rack in the middle tho with all the open ones, I went through it all and found only one of what I was looking for, the problem was they look almost second hand because they are just sitting there on the rack with no wrappings. So I asked the customer service lady who was nearby whether they were still selling them, she responded yes. So I decided to still buy it since it's the only one I could find. That lovely lady took it and asked a cashier by the name of Saalcsui or Saaksui to price it for me. I joking asked smiling, so how much might that be? free? I didn't expect her to come back with a "what makes you think we will give you this for free? even us we don't get anything free. I said to her it was only a joke. She went ahead and told me that she had discounted it for me for $15. I said to her, that I would not pay that much for something that was already open, no wrapping, nothing to indicate to me exactly what brand, the thickness, the exact shade etc, of what I'm buying, but I was prepared to buy it at a fair price. She then proceed to call her Manager (Kay). Kay came and told me I can have it for $10. I asked her for the product's original price and she said it's $14.95. 'How RIDICULOUS'. I think Farmers should look into this kind of attitude and behavior whether they are fit for working there and as customer service. Saalcsui or Saaksui ( what ever her name is) is not a good fit and she should be fired before you loose any...
Read morePurchased a Sunbeam jug for close to $200 but the lid opens while boiling water. Emailed customer care and they advised me to take it to the nearest Farmers to get a replacement. Went to the Manukau branch with the Jug, receipt and email and guess what, the customer service lady (Movin) took out a big bottle of water, filled the jug and plugged it in. the Lid didn't open, she turns to me and says there is no issue thus there will not be a replacement. I asked to speak to the Manager and she calls Sakshi the Manager who agrees with Movin. At fist i felt as though i was in Bargain Box in Fiji GOSH. I told them that I have kids in the house and since the jug had opened before I am not taking any chances and I left the store without the Jug.
Called Sunbeam NZ directly the next day and they were so professional. They said farmers customer service agent are not qualified to test their products. I had a replacement jug sent to my house in 7 days directly from Sunbeam
Avoid the Manukau branch. Seems like they hire staff without training. They sound professional when they speak(Movin & Sakshi) but are not qualified to make those statements. Botany farmers is much more friendly as they were the ones who told me to call Sunbeam and lodge a complain. They said Manukau farmers had spoken to the online customer Service that is why no one is replying...so ganging up on customers.

Read moreThe worker called diva is weird, I came to by some new makeup and swatched a few testers on my wrist he was like a desperate hungry mosquito, constantly buzzing and watching me asking if I needed help ....the first time was fine I said no thank you the second time he came I said no thank you, if I need help I will ask but I know what I'm looking for...and then the third was just awkward and annoying to me at that point, he was like if you need to swatch then you should come and ask me?.... first of all the testers are there for customers to TEST??!! like are you working for police or retail... literally interrogating me about make-up and how much testers I am allowed to test....Like this is the one day I get off to buy some new makeup take my time and this dude is demanding I need his assistance like I was taking hours and hours but I was only in there for about 5 to 10 minutes.... as if, like I was going to take advice from someone who couldn't get their breath right...Where does farmers hire these people from, did you go to school and learn the meaning of words. such an awkward experience anyways I got my makeup I needed and make a complaint to the front...
