Hi All, im Grant wanting to post a comment re- the exception service & truly amazing bouquet of flowers the lovely team @ the flower station provided @ very short notice, the day before our second period of lock down. I had just purchased the house i have been renting for 5yrs & my landlady had stayed true to her word that she would give me the 1st offer direct, which gave me a huge advantage by it not going to the open market. How do you say thank you on short notice in these very tying times? FLOWERS OF COURSE :) Enter the flower station, who took over from the get go & created & delivered the most beautiful bouquet that my land lady described in a txt after they had been delivered as, STUNNING & they must have cost a fortune. Job done & in actual fact, they didn't cost a fortune, as when i 1st called the flower station & described what i wanted, they recommended a variety of long lasting flowers in a good sized bouquet, that could be displayed in its entirety, rather that a huge mass that would need to be broken down & would loose its visual arrangement appeal. We had a constructive conversation on my sub-par experience with their website and flower. Not once was she defensive, she even offered to refund me but we agree on a re-do and she will send a new bright bouquet to my sister tomorrow. ++++++++++++++++++ Had the most terrible on-line purchase experience. There was no email receipt or acknowledgement after I paid. Proceeded to email them to follow up with no reply. Called them to follow up and all she said was it's out for delivery. If the flower were good I was going to let this go, but look at the photos, I ordered the BRIGHTS bouquet which is the bright pink image they showed on their website but what my sister receive was nothing bright. Read moreVery poor service. Flowers for my wife’s birthday were delivered a day late, ruining what was an important surprise. When I requested a refund of the delivery fee, I was told it was the courier’s fault — despite the website promising delivery by their own staff.
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act (1993), services must be provided with reasonable care and within the agreed timeframe. Delivery was late, yet they refused a refund.
Their website also clearly states “free delivery on all online orders”, with no exclusions noted. Charging me a delivery fee anyway is misleading under the Fair Trading Act (1986).
Instead of taking responsibility, they pushed the problem back on me. Misleading advertising, lack of accountability, and poor communication. To Lisa credit they remade the flowers and delivered the next day, but I won’t be...
