I love this mall, as does my daughter. Two story levels of shopping and delicious choices of coffee and chocolate with the Theobrama Choco lounge and Thai, Indonesian dishes plus a huge Hoyts and hair salon, massage and nails plus beauty wax and threading upstairs aswell as the best American candy store and anime collectable store with Pop Stop t Aswell as great clothing stores Decjuba and Forever plus entrance to Farmers then everyone's favorite Starbucks and boba tea downstairs with a large ever changing foodcourt downstairs in the centre. Kmart, banks inside and across the road is KiwiBank BNZ Briscoes and a huge Timezone. Lots of shopping for kids and big kids alike plus your usual pak n save, Chemist life pharmacy and Westpac Noel leeming. Just jeans, Glassons, Rodney Wayne hair dresser and lovisa jewellery plus Mac make up next door the large bust Kmart. Postie plus near Coffee culture and ASB bank with many more shops and kiosks. It's the best largest mall in the South Island. Extra parking. Loads to do.

$55 infringement notice- last time I went shopping at Westfield Riccarton I got a parking ticket, not for a over stay on time limit (which is the only parking infringement that the signs on the wall advertise that they can charge you for), but in a position that the mall hasn't made clear with an obvious 'no parking' road marking. I parked in a space with a car that was directly behind me, where we both parked at the end of a row (a very popular space). You can even see that there is clearly a car parked in that exact position on Google Maps. I have complained to customer services, but other customers should not have to deal with this, as Westfield should have clearly marked this as a NP space with yellow dotted lines. This is my preferred and local mall, but this may change my opinion of Westfield especially the lower carpark for Pakn'save.

Great mall with many shops and cafes. It has a supermarket (Pack n Save) and Japanese Mart store for your groceries. You can hire mobility scooter, wheelchair, kiddie kruzzer or stroller. Mall has very large car park in ground first and second level. Open or covered. You can connect to a free wifi. Variety of cafes and food court will ensure nice and relaxed break from strolling through the mall. It has cinema Hoyts complex major stores such as Kmart, Farmers, H&M, Rebel. You will find information about mall through the mall. You can do your banking as well in Westpac, ASB, and BNZ. The whole mall is clean even toilets. Recommended to everyone who wants to spend some time window browsing or shopping.

Typical shopping mall, they are all equally bad and sadly main attraction and place for people to spend their time on the weekends. Riccarton Mall is the oldest in town, overcrowded, with very limited parking options. Takes forever to find any parking spot, especially on the weekend. On the plus side there is something for everyone from cinema to variety of boutiques, shops, services and food and cafe options. Almost everything g you need you can find there if you don’t mind the stress of pushing through the crowds of people who seem to be there all day long, from the opening to closing.

This is a well-designed shopping mall having a large car park. I was told this is South Island's largest shopping mall. I had been here quite a few times and the experience was great every single time. The mall has got everything from supermarkets to restaurants to souvenir stores to money changers to movie theaters. I took assistance from the help desk a couple of times and they were very helpful. The supermarkets in this mall are open till 11 PM and on Thursdays, the stores remain open a little later than usual.

Shopping mall is good for everyone but also great for parents with little ones, two mini indoor play area(one on the ground floor & another one 1st floor) for children under 5. Plenty of washrooms and more than 3 parents rooms. It’s so convenient for nappy changes and most parent’s room provides microwave to heat up food / milk for the kids.
