Little Miss Saigon (VN Express) — Attraction in Kaipātiki

I'm a person who rarely gives 5 star on a review but I found this place by pure chance while walking around lunchtime and looking for places to eat. We order Beef pho+spring rolls combo, bahn mi and salted coffee. Got the pork and prawn spring rolls and to be honest it was nice but nothing extraordinary so dont get your hopes up. Bahn mi was quite bigger than i expected and had lots of fillings and it tasted quite good 👍 Salted coffee was also quite nice but i can see some people wont like it due to salty flavor. Now my favourite, pho. This was AMAZING. broth was so good we drank it all literally emptied the bowl. I would say this is one of the nicest pho i had in northshore area so i would recommend pho if you come here.

And i just want to point out while i was reading some old 1star reviews left by other customers. I can guarantee you that you dont need to listen to some of them because they are talking nonsense. The customer service is amazing, the ladies who were working there were kind to us.

The only downside is this place is quite small if you compare it to other restaurants. And there are no toilets available. The water and bowl and cutlery and napkins are self service so thats not a big deal.

• I thought I have to response to the owner's comments and present some facts: (1) You were hardly busy at all, in fact there was only one other customer in the cafe, (2) running a hospitality business and using the words "not your own nanny" is hardly a gold standard in business and hospitality, (3) It was your attitude as the owner that was not befitting a restaurant owner - we came in good faith and as soon as we put in only a small order, started using language and gestures inappropriate to a patron, and (4) I find it bemusing that a restaurant has no ice when in fact, you also serve iced coffee. Sorry if you don't like it when I said stingy, but that was exactly how we felt, pure honesty. *.
