Tirohanga Track is centrally located in Picton, NZ, and provides a beautiful panoramic view of the town and Queen Charlotte Sound. It's an easy to moderate walk on a mostly-shaded dirt track - easy if the weather is fine and the track dry, moderate if wet and slippery. The track from Newgate St zigzags its way up to the top, about a 35-45 min walk depending on fitness. There are glimpses of the outlook as you climb, but the best is at the top. It's quite stunning and well worth the effort to make the climb.
