Game Over Queenstown — Attraction in South Island

I'm surprised they managed to take the concept of laser tag, a usually fun time, and make it so unfun. Our session was booked at the top of the hour, and we waited 30 minutes to even get to our session. We didn't know about the delay and we were not informed they were behind until one of us went up to the counter and asked. We were asked if we would go with another group, which was okay. Our games were then plagued with issues: blasters would frequently turn off and back on, removing the players who were signed in. My blaster had no sound and barely vibrated, so I wouldn't know if I got hit until I couldn't fire. Blasters would also indicate that we needed two hands on it when we already had it (I had to grip it like it owed me money in order for it to stay consistently working). There were no staff supervising the games, and when we were having these issues, we had to wait before the staff would help resolve it. One of our group missed out an entire game because of it. We suffered through three games of this. Never again. You can get better laser tag...

i went gokarting here the karts are okay, track is small and there were only certain areas of which it was possible to pass the one in front. however all in all it was quite cool for indoor go karting . so everything was okay, except the guy who was working there and in charge of our race, i understand that it is a non contact sport, however when we are not intentionally crashing, i see no reason to stop our karts. every other lap this happened, simply because we were trying to pass the person in front. i have been gokarting quite a bit at many other places, and never has it been like this before… i honestly think this ruins the whole experience of gokarting. as it is supposed to be a race. i’d recommend taking the longer drive to highlands, even though it is...

Paid for our race and and was told that we’d be on the next race in 5 minutes. Watched as the previous race finished their final laps and waited to see if our names would appear with the next racers as they had been getting ready to go (4 ppl). Saw that we had not been put into this race so we were waiting for the next game to load. A big family walks through the door and pays for a race - we watch their names immediately load on the board for the next race. We then ask why we weren’t put on the board for either races and they said they had to put the big group ahead as they were bigger and there were only 2 of us. we then asked for a refund and were questioned multiple times why we wanted a refund.
