The Manager named William (white male) was very unhelpful and rude. I had a purchase history with this series of product but they were faulty so I upgraded to the higher end product in the line according to the sales person (she is super nice). It turns out that the higher product’s use still didn’t match to it’s description so I thought to exchange back to the first one I got as I used it more and is a lot more comfortable with it. I didn’t want to come down to a refund as I know how annoying it would be for a shop. After consulting this manager William, he insisted that the product is not at fault and quote ‘if we just turn on this button it will be fine’. To which our concern was when we did used the product at home with the button on it still wasn’t working. William kept repeating that a push of a button is all we need to do and said he would get his colleague to come and demonstrate for us. At this point we just wanted a refund, and on the receipt of Noel Leeming it states that ‘We are happy to exchange or credit (as a Gift Card) within 14 days of purchase if the product is in its original condition and not on the Product Exclusion List’. We patient waited for William to come back to which for the time to pass for half an hour with no further updates from William. He basically disappeared on us. Like who does that especially someone who works at customer service at a manager level. When eventually he did show up, I straight up questioned his whereabouts with this ‘demonstration’ to which he replied the other person was not free. I then asked ‘why can’t you demonstrate for us then?’ To which William replied ‘because I don’t know’. The funny thing is, this would be the first time we used this product as well, like that is not an excuse to leave us standing there for half an hour with no communication. So I said to him ‘maybe it’s time for you to learn as well’. And in the end he basically shouted to me ‘Don’t tell me what to do’ to which I replied ‘you can start by being more helpful’. And he walked off.

Read moreTerrible customer service. Recently got a Samsung galaxy flip and it turned out to be faulty so we sent it in for repair, being told that the phone would be repaired within 14 days. Now it has been over 14 days and I have not received any updates on my phone. We called Noel Leeming 3 days ago explicitly asking how the phone is doing and we were told that it would take a little longer due to having replacement of the phone. Still haven't heard back so I went into Noel Leeming today to ask about my phone and now they tell me that they are taking longer due to repairing of the phone. Very unhappy about this because 1) they have not kept us up to date with the process 2) the time taken to repair is over the 14 days making it very inconvenient without a phone and 3) they change their words from saying replacement to repairing. We talked to the manager William and received awful customer service. The way he treated me as a customer was very unprofessional and disrespectful when we just asked for a solution to this problem. He told us to either wait for the repair or get the unrepaired one and sell on trade me by myself. We only bought this phone for 3 months, so to tell us to just sell it on the trade then come into their store to buy a new phone again is a very big insult. Why would we sell the phone on trade me which it should be their responsibility to take care of their customer?
Truly dissatisfied as we have bought many of our devices from Noel Leeming New Market Westfield, but now from this experience, I believe I would never want to come to this store to be treated by a manager...
Read moreI never bother to write google reviews but this store wasted so much of my time and in whole were just absolutely useless I will never purchase from noel leeming again I purchased a samsung smart watch from the new market store, after setting up the watch I noticed it had a default so took it back for return the next day. I talked to the service desk who told me they were unable to help as it sounded like a issue I would have to call samsung or take it to a samsung store 40min away. I then called samsung who walked me through the steps to trouble shoot the watch, samsung unable to fix the issue over the phone told me to return it to noel leeming. I did so the next day which I was then told to come back 2 days later when their tech guy was in store. I returned two days later to be told by the tech guy that if I had already done the trouble shooting through samsung there was nothing else he could do and I had to speak to the manager. I was then told by the manager that they would have to send my watch away for minimum 3 weeks to be checked physically by samsung before they would honour a return due to a defective product even though it was defective from the moment I brought it. Absolutely terrible knowledge on their own returns policy's and ability to understand the technology they sell in the store along with no understanding of the issues and time they are wasting for their customers.
