I got gel x extention (coffin) here and it looks amazing, the shape is perfect! I normally do my own nails so I was a bit nervous especially the nail shape, but I loved the result. Thank you Victoria!! ☺ Gel x extention was $80, and the nail art(French tip + 4 gems) is $50

Just be aware though, if it bugs you that you can see your natural nail peeking through underneath(the last 2 photos, you can notice it the most on index finger) , do let the technician know, so maybe they can apply another layer of the base colour? (just one layer of pink was applied in my case) It's my first time getting my nails done in a salon so I wasn't aware but I'll ask next time. (by the time I realised it shows underneath it was too late hahah)

I got my pedicure done too, just know that only the deluxe includes cuticle removing. Personally I dont recommend it as it wasn't too much of a deep cuticle remove and exfoliation that I was looking for. But since I don't have experience at another salon, maybe this is standard? Deluxe pedi is $43

And as a suggestion, can we please have an updated detailed description of what's included in each different manicure & pedicure? I saw another review mentioning it's not very clear, which I also agree. It was a bit confusing of what's included in each (for example the difference between deluxe and express pedicure) , unless you ask the staff there

Also I see a lot of reviews saying that the staff is not friendly which I disagree. I think it's most likely misunderstanding, since the staff can be blunt (as from my pov they don't speak much English, so it can come across blunt? ). I saw another review about tapping hands to indicate to swap hands felt rude. Personally I don't mind this, but just so people are aware and know that it doesn't come from a bad place.

If you are reading this I want to save you your money. This was the worst nail experience I've ever had, to the point where I wanted to pay quickly just to get away from the nail technician. She was rude and hostile, tutting and tapping her fingers impatiently, and kept aggressively pulling my hand about. We all have bad days, and I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, however the shellac manicure itself is not worth $40. She kept making mistakes, and removing and reapplying polish in places so the colour is lumpy and uneven. The colour does not reach the tips on some, and the shellac itself looks cheap and not shiny. This will not last the three weeks my usual nail shop in Grey Lynn (The Pampered Bar if you're looking for a much nicer experience) will. Photos are attached from immediately after. My eyebrows are beyond sceweds. I had makeup on and went to get eyebrows waxed. I couldn't get into usual place so I went here. Usually the person takes any makeup off eyebrows. It was very obvious i had makeup on. I noticed immediately she had waxed off the front part of eyebrows. As soon as I got to work I took the rest of my makeup off and noticed shes nearly waxed off half the other eyebrow and they're insanely uneven. Any professional eyebrow waxer wipes down your brows to clean them and remove any makeup before waxing. My eyebrows are recked until they grow back. Who the frigg screws eyebrows up this much!!!! I've had my eyebrows waxed for years and have gone to many places. They always clean the brows before waxing to avoid this mess!!!!!!!
