Interesting features. Modern park with structures for between ages 2-12. Great short seating for adults. No matter where you sit, you'll be able to watch your child clearly. Toilets across the footpath in front. Bit dark and dingy. Mown grass hill for relaxing and picnics. Saw teens trying to do Parkour on some structures too-getting in the way of the little ones. Overall kids had parents monitoring and atmosphere was peaceful.

However near the water feature/fountain on the other side of the park were people that had set up a home type-and had bedding and alcohol out. All different cultures too-european, Māori and pasifika. I would steer clear of that area due to it looking like those people had set up a home and didn't like when my child and I...

Gorgeous park which is a trippy visual Alice in wonderland experience if you enter from st Kevin's arcade steps. Take time to see the very pleasing arty shops there or alternative cafes first. I recommend the small arty shop on the right of the stair entry. The area of the park where you exit the st Kevin's arcade steps downward, to the right and left of the top of the park is little areas great to hang out and look at the odd perspective of the park which feels just like Alice in wonderland . The playground further down is very much enjoyed by kids and there's a rare couple of public toilets which are very appreciated. Further down again is an overpass which is now a spectacular light and...

This playground is absolutely ideal for my little one, who is just a toddler. It offers a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate environment that allows young children to explore and play freely. One of the key highlights of this park is its location—it is set well away from busy roads, which gives parents peace of mind and creates a much safer space for children to roam. The park is also very family-friendly, with clean facilities and features that cater to a range of ages. It has quickly become a favorite spot for our family outings, and my toddler especially loves coming here. Among all the playgrounds we’ve visited in Auckland City, this one stands out as a top choice for both...

The green space is charming with a small area to actually be in the green space and otherwise large trees flanking both sides of an easy walking path. It has clean public restrooms and a drinking fountain. The playground is okay but I recommend a small toy with wheels to spark imagination. The ground is between old school playground and new "safer" ground. The equipment held my 9 year old attention for about 15 minutes. The cultural display is the gem of Meyers Park experience.
