Was in town for a couple of days and wanted a pedi. Searched local nail salons on google and this one had excellent reviews. I saw that was mainly for finger nails though, from the reviews.

I booked for 50min Jelly Pedi to give myself a spoilies treat as I very rarely do this.

On entering I was summoned to a pedi chair. Nowhere to put my bag or jacket, I fumbled around trying to put my drink bottle somewhere and after several minutes a woman instructed the very young attendant allocated to me, to open a side drawer for me to use.

The young attendant wasn't welcoming and didn't even look at me. In the end I said 'Hello, nice to meet you' and she said 'hello' and that was all.

The water in the foot spa tank was too hot for me to stand, and she didn't ask if it was ok, so when I pulled my feet out she finally realised it needed some cold added.

She went ahead and did a soak, then scrub and trim and colour on the nails. The LED lamp hit my toe nail polish on the first go, something an experienced attendant wouldn't do. So from then on I ensured my toes were out of the way, as she swapped the lamp over several times for layer curing.

The water was still too hot when she rinsed the creams off and she couldn't handle the pull out shower head, which wasn't rinsing well, she turned the hot off and it was cold then (sighhh) but I gave up by then.

As I went to step off the seat, I noticed a lot of water beside the chair which had sprayed over from the shower head, I was fearful of slipping. I had to point it out, so she wiped my slip on shoes, and I said 'no the floor is very wet and I'm scared of slipping' so she flicked the towel to the floor.

I went to pay and again, no effort to be friendly at all.

I don't blame the young attendant entirely, as young people need to be taught how to provide customer service ie to look around and be aware of surroundings and people's feelings etc. She was very unaware and uninterested in learning this and the other attendants were mostly doing finger nails at another area.

The jelly in the water was lovely and soothing and she gave an ok massage, but tbh it wasn't worth the money.

I would suggest choosing an attendant from the list, (if you book online) or asking for an experienced pedicurist, to ensure you get a good attendant that knows how to check water temps and makes you feel welcome and looked after. I just said 'any attendant' in the...

I’ve been there many times but I stopped going there because they made me uncomfortable. When I was going there in the beginning, I didn’t choose anyone but one lady there didn’t care length of my nails much so I needed to tell her like you can make same length of nails or not which she should have cared about. So after that, I have been getting nails done by Kristin. When I went there for my booking before, she wasn’t there. I got there a couple minutes earlier than my booking so I was like maybe she was coming soon. And then other ladies there told me they don’t know what time she is coming or she might not come so they asked me to call her. I was like are you guys serious? Why do I need to call her and of course I don’t have her number. That’s not my job to call her. They offered me they could start my nails until she comes and she eventually came there. I was like why they don’t know she is coming or not and that made me very confused and unprofessional of them to ask me to call her. No body said sorry to me like we didn’t know she would come or not so we made you confused or something which they could’ve say that. The happened was twice to me. After that, I was still going there and I booked her today online, they texted me that she is not working this Sunday. I was like then why was I able to book her online? If she wasn’t working on the day, they should not have put her on the booking list. So I changed the booking to today at 6:20 because I was able to book with her. I think I booked around 12pm today. And then they texted me and called me around 2 hours before the booking and they said she can’t do it today so I asked them okay then someone can do it at 6:20 that I booked? She said no you need to come at 5:30 otherwise we can’t do it. I was like okay you guys told me she can’t do it which I understand but at least why you guys don’t offer me at the same time? My nails needed to be done by tomorrow night because one of nails were broken. They didn’t even offer me a discount or anything even though I changed the time for them. I got my nails (pedicure) and lashes (medium extension) done here. It was my first time visiting this salon, was in the CBD so close location. Although I had a different specialist as to what was on my booking confirmation, the specialist who completed my pedicure was very friendly. I really enjoyed the hot stone massage and scrub, the massage was really long so it was nice and relaxing. When filing my nails, a lot of my skin next to my nail came off as the specialist took off a lot of my cuticles so it became very stingy and sore. The specialist kept filing it even more after my nails were painted too. I had to keep moving my feet everytime they were to be set under the UV light due to there not being enough room on the foot rest for both my feet and the UV light. It would have been more relaxing if there was relaxing music playing as opposed to upbeat pop music. When getting my lashes done, it was the second time I had ever gotten my lashes done so I wasn’t sure what length; I let the specialist know this was my second time and expected her to tell me her recommendations in which she did. It took 2 hours to do my lashes and I was not used to it so my eyes were stingy and it kept making me cry, making my eyes wet and hard for the lashes to be put on. It was a long time. I like the result of the lashes, however could have added a few more lashes on the end as the end lashes look like they’re going to fall off already and are separated from the rest of the eyelashes.
