4 Dockside Lane Parnell Auckland. — Attraction in Waitematā

I have lived here for just on 8 years now and have to say in terms of location and access it's all pretty good. The negatives have probably been the homelessness, general crime and antisocial behaviour in the CBD (this is really sad to witness and it's hard to imagine how politicians and counsellors can look on and apparently do so very little to help the people who are suffering so much on the streets) and also the noise from Quay Street because motorbikes and cars constantly race up and down here. When Spark Arena is busy there can be alot of antisocial behaviour, however this is a trade-off as we have all these amazing artists coming to play right next door to us which brings a lot of people to the CBD and generally creates a very positive and vibrant environment. The upsides are that we have fantastic Building Management in Dev, who does a fabulous job looking after everyone across four different apartment blocks in a very busy residential environment. The location couldn't be better, being close to Britomart Station and the Commercial Bay shopping precinct and of course this will really come into its own in 2026 once the new City Rail Link is finally completed and is up and running, as being close to a busy commuter station is a real 'must have' for anyone living in the CBD. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops close by and once Auckland Council and Auckland Transport manage to complete the many CBD based projects they have underway the CBD will be an even better place to live than it...

Decent apartment in Auckland Central. Rent can be around $600/week with or without parking. Electricity, Wifi and water is excluded. Building is well managed by Terry Moore. Sometimes he forgets addressing issues. Also they pump in fresh air inside the building. You got to chase him.But the air in outside your door is warm but inside your house it's gonna be cold. So you got to keep your heat pump running. Maybe increase your bills. Security systems are great. You can't enter without a FOB. Parking is secure. They have regular fire and safety checks. Sometimes your apartment may vibrate if you living on bottom floors as there is a train tunnel that leads to Britomart...

Great location, good and friendly building managers. Awesome views from the 7th floor. The only downside is you have to use either Easy Energy for water or Pulse Energy for power. I prefer to choose my own utility providers - other than that it was a great 2 years living...
