The Tromsø Bridge (Tromsøbrua) is a vital and iconic cantilever road bridge in Tromsø, Norway. Opened on July 3, 1960, it gracefully stretches 1,036 meters (3,399 ft) across the Tromsøysundet strait, connecting Tromsdalen on the mainland with the island of Tromsøya. At the time of its inauguration, it proudly held the title of the longest bridge in Northern Europe. The bridge features 58 spans, with the longest stretching 80 meters, and offers a clearance of 38 meters above the sea.
