This is the Chinatown of Lima. It is a busy street that is passed the central market. It is mostly Chinese restaurants that sell Chifa food which is basically a mix of Peruvian and Chinese food. I wasn’t really interested in eating but just walking around the street was absolutely chaotic. Súper decepcionada, cada vez más descuidado, sucio, abandonado, esa mezcla de orines, olores putrefactos y comida, es bien desagradable. El comercio informal por todos lados, como hace mucho años y todo es caótico, desorden y una bomba de tiempo si pasara un temblor, por ejemplo, defensa civil, no sé dónde está o la municipalidad. Ni imaginar un incendio. Un domingo temprano es tranquilo, pero luego de eso, es casi imposible caminar. El Boulevard muy triste y descuidado, lo han llenado de otros puestos de comida que impide la circulación cómoda de esa parte. Lo único que salva son los chifa, que siguen siendo muy ricos, pero una persona con silla de ruedas que difícil poder andar por esas veredas y pistas destrozadas. Hay varias playas de estacionamiento cerca, pero salir de ahí es un infierno luego que pasan unas horas. Mejor vayan en bus, taxi, etc. No se podía ni ver las tiendas con tanta gente, esta zona que antes era muy bonito ir a caminar y comprar tranquilamente. Ver turistas caminando con miedo y cara de susto, no es nada agradable como imagen, ni como zona turística. Y encima le robaron la bola de la boca de los leones, dañando las esculturas. Ojalá alguien haga algo, no lo recomiendo como esta hoy a turistas, salvo por los chifas y quizás día de semana. Fin de semana, no...
