Overall this is a 4.5 for our family, rounding up per disclaimer.
With a solid craft beer menu and full bar, La Cerveceria is designed for you to have a fun time with a more US vibe. Bumping music, a mix of US and Peruvian bar foods, and a plush and nicely decorated interior are inviting for those looking for good vibes.
The menu might not be for everyone and won’t fully check your dietary restriction boxes, but if you are looking for a tasty burger and fresh ceviche this place has both in spades. Nice fries and solid bar snacks go with the mains. If you like it spicy, don’t forget to ask for some red aji limon peppers with your dish. They can be up to 50k Scoville heat units and pack a punch. Also note… the mixed drinks are very strong for those that like it that way. Service was solid, as well.
Overall, we had a good time and good meal. I appreciate what they are trying to do in Lima with a good craft beer selection and bar foods and I would find myself coming back again, for sure.
Areas for improvement, based on our perceptions and preference, thus 4.5: music could be a tad bit loud for early afternoon and mixed drinks may be too strong.

Read moreFantastic selection of beers on tap (21 when I visited) from a variety of breweries. Served by knowledgeable staff at a reasonable price (18-20 soles for a craft beer).
Nice decor - somewhere between a traditional pub and a trendy craft beer joint puts you at ease but lets you know there is a variety of new flavours to experience.
Food (burger) was average at best - not a lot of flavour to the meat, and definitely overdone (I ordered by burger medium and my friend 3/4 - both arrived the same grey colour all the way through)
Definitely worth a stop for...
Read moreWe stopped in for drinks around 7 PM. Although the restaurant wasn’t busy, the service was noticeably slow. Our server seemed to focus on one task at a time—taking an order, then waiting at the bar until the drinks were prepared—rather than multitasking or checking on other tables. We had hoped to enjoy a couple of rounds, but after 40 minutes, we only received one drink before needing to leave. Unfortunately, the pace of service didn’t match the otherwise...
