Read moreSecurity guards were super rude. We were waiting for the 12 noon mass inside the car because we arrived early and I am immunocompromised, hence cannot expose myself too much outdoors. One security guard approached the car and asked what we are doing and I answered that we are waiting for the 12 noon mass. He replied standoffishly saying that "kanina pa kayo naghihintay and masyadong maaga" when in fact we just arrived at parked about 10 mins. He then repeatedly negated my statements and insinuated that "hindi iba hinihintay nyo eh" even if I repeatedly said that I am waiting for the mass. Minutes later an older security guard approached our car and used his radio to knock the side of the car. Not even courteous enough to knock the window. I didn't roll down the window and bother to talk to him considering his bastos behavior. I didn't know that people can no longer go to church and wait and attend masses. Instead of being welcomed, the security guards will ridicule and mock you. Mind you I am bald and obviously sick. Disgusting behavior from the security guards. Hope the admin and priests will...
Read moreDon Bosco Church Makati has always been one of the places we make it a point to visit for our annual Lenten church pilgrimages. This year Catholic devotees like ourselves had a chance to visit a much improved newly renovated Gallery of Saints and pray at the Stations of the Cross which was located beside the gallery. Devotees are also provided another option for the Station of the Cross near the parking closest to San Lorenzo Village . We were particularly impressed with the efforts made for the Altar of Repose What struck us was a sense of awe and reverence it inspired amid the anticipation of the resurrection.
Makati residents in the vicinity have a great opportunity to take advantage of the number of activities and events given the ideal location. One such event we recently also had a chance to attend was the Harana para Kay Don Bosco a delightful concert provided by various choir groups in honor of St. Don Bosco. Its always delightful to see such a vibrant church and this one wonderfully continues to live up to it's...
