Saint John Bosco Parish Church in Makati is a beautiful and serene place of worship that reflects both spiritual devotion and modern functionality. Located in the heart of Makati, it offers a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. The church’s architecture is simple yet elegant, with high ceilings, well-lit interiors, centralized air condition and a spacious layout that allows for comfortable gatherings.

One of the highlights of this parish is its vibrant and welcoming community. The priests deliver inspiring homilies, making the Mass feel personal and engaging. The church is also known for its well-organized services, from daily Masses to special sacraments like weddings and baptisms.

Another great feature is its accessibility—situated along Arnaiz Avenue, it’s easy to find and has ample parking. Plus, the church regularly holds activities and outreach programs, staying true to the teachings of St. John Bosco, who was dedicated to youth and education.

Overall, whether you’re a regular parishioner or just visiting, Saint John Bosco Parish Church is a wonderful place for prayer, reflection,...

Security guards were super rude. We were waiting for the 12 noon mass inside the car because we arrived early and I am immunocompromised, hence cannot expose myself too much outdoors. One security guard approached the car and asked what we are doing and I answered that we are waiting for the 12 noon mass. He replied standoffishly saying that "kanina pa kayo naghihintay and masyadong maaga" when in fact we just arrived at parked about 10 mins. He then repeatedly negated my statements and insinuated that "hindi iba hinihintay nyo eh" even if I repeatedly said that I am waiting for the mass. Minutes later an older security guard approached our car and used his radio to knock the side of the car. Not even courteous enough to knock the window. I didn't roll down the window and bother to talk to him considering his bastos behavior. I didn't know that people can no longer go to church and wait and attend masses. Instead of being welcomed, the security guards will ridicule and mock you. Mind you I am bald and obviously sick. Disgusting behavior from the security guards. Hope the admin and priests will...

Don Bosco Church Makati has always been one of the places we make it a point to visit for our annual Lenten church pilgrimages. This year Catholic devotees like ourselves had a chance to visit a much improved newly renovated Gallery of Saints and pray at the Stations of the Cross which was located beside the gallery. Devotees are also provided another option for the Station of the Cross near the parking closest to San Lorenzo Village . We were particularly impressed with the efforts made for the Altar of Repose What struck us was a sense of awe and reverence it inspired amid the anticipation of the resurrection.

Makati residents in the vicinity have a great opportunity to take advantage of the number of activities and events given the ideal location. One such event we recently also had a chance to attend was the Harana para Kay Don Bosco a delightful concert provided by various choir groups in honor of St. Don Bosco. Its always delightful to see such a vibrant church and this one wonderfully continues to live up to it's...

The whole St. John Bosco Parish Church is air-conditioned, including the adjoining adoration chapel on the right side. There are ample parking slots in front of the church but still not enough on Sundays when large numbers of Mass-goers gather in this landmark church in Makati City. In fact, some Masses are SRO. The clamshell-inspired structure was designed by National Artist Jose Maria Zaragoza. Of course, the patron saint of the parish is St. John Bosco, or more popularly known as Don Bosco – the “Father and Teacher of the Youth”. Thus, the parish focuses on programs for the youth, including a bakery as a venue to train under-privileged youth on entrepreneurship. There is also a large gymnasium to encourage young people to direct their energy towards positive activities such as sports and hopefully engage them in church activities in the process.

I recently visited St. John Bosco Parish Church in Makati City, and it left a really peaceful and uplifting impression on me. The church itself has a spacious, modern design but still feels very warm and welcoming. I appreciated how organized the place is, especially during Mass—there are ushers to guide parishioners, and the sound system makes it easy to follow along wherever you sit. The stained glass and altar area are beautifully done, adding to the solemn atmosphere that helps you focus on prayer. The location is quite convenient too, being right in Makati, so it’s easy to visit even on a busy day. It’s a great spot for quiet reflection, attending Mass, or just taking a break from the city’s rush. Overall, it’s a lovely and well-kept parish that really feels like a spiritual refuge in the middle of the city.
