One of the best meals of my life. Starting from the warm and welcoming waiter that assisted us, me and my family went thru all the dishes in the menu, and everyone of them was absolutely inviting. we ended getting a two cutlet veal and one gulasch, accompanied by some baked potatoes with an herbal cheese cream. We also ordered some pierogi and asked if they could bring them before the other dishes. Our meat arrived before the pierogi, and instantly the waiter apologised and brought with him two shots of almond tasting vodka. The meat was perfect, the veal and the gulasch were delicious, also paired well with the baked potatoes, witch were even those really soft and good cooked. then the pierogi arrived and they were amazing, really happy of the decision. All of this always with this very charming and friendly waiter who assisted us thru out our dinner, he was also accompanied by another waiter who brought our plates at the table and asked us for desserts. I asked for a bowl of ice cream, which wasn’t on the menu, but they had no problem with it. Resuming, lovely atmosphere and serving, i recommend this place to everyone that has even the slightest chance of...
Read moreI went there with my wife after looking at their menu and seeing a lot of Polish food with good reviews. When we got to the restaurant, there was no one around to greet customers and the front area of the restaurant was empty. We should have left right then. But we saw that the restaurant was also sporting a Michelin rating. So, we decided to take a chance. As the host/waiter/bartender showed us to a table, he mentioned that they only took cash as their cc machine was not working. Another red sign. But, we were there and so we sat down. My wife ordered Borscht soup and Pierogies and I ordered roast duck with a side of beet salad. The only thing that was "good" was the pierogi. The duck was not good. It tasted wild and very soft. The sauce was something that did not add to the taste of the duck. My wife said the Borscht was okay, she completed a third of it. The beet salad was shredded beet and slightly sweet. That was okay. The server took the order, delivered the food and came back to the table when we asked for the check. Until then he was nowhere to be seen. All in all, not a very...
Read moreThis exquisite restaurant specializes in Polish cuisine, offering a fine dining experience. The interior is tastefully decorated, with soft music playing in the background and beautiful flowers adorning the tables. I had the pleasure of trying their fish soup, which was a delightful surprise with the addition of olives—a combination I had never experienced before. However, I was disappointed with the undercooked pork and the lukewarm mushroom sauce, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. On a positive note, the chocolate soufflé was absolutely delightful, while the apple dish leaned towards being slightly too sweet for my taste. The waiter was friendly, but unfortunately, the service was quite slow, which could benefit from some refinement. Having dined at other fine establishments, I expected a higher...
