I had high expectations for this place since a friend recommended it, and at first glance, it looked beautiful—classy, cozy, and well-designed. Unfortunately, the service was a huge letdown.
From the start, the hostess who took our order had no smile, no warmth, and seemed like she was carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. While that alone wouldn’t have mattered much, what followed was unacceptable.
Our shisha arrived on time, but due to a light drizzle, we had to move to another table. And the couples table next to us was out of the rain no stag to help them. All went to cover . We help the couple to move the tables.
We patiently waited for over 40 minutes before finally asking a passing waiter about our food and drinks. Instead of checking on our order professionally, he came back and blamed us for the delay, saying it was because we changed tables. Really?
Then, the drinks and food arrived in the most disorganized manner— • My lemonade came first. • Five minutes later, coffee arrived—but with no sugar. • Ten minutes after that, the baklava arrived, and the waiter casually dropped off the plate without any cutlery. • When we asked for cutlery and tissues, his response? A dismissive “yeah yeah, wait, I’ll bring.” He eventually returned with four forks and just one tissue for four people.
We wanted to order more, but trying to get anyone’s attention was nearly impossible. It felt like we weren’t “important” enough for them to care. My friend had to physically approach someone just to place another order.
When the same waiter brought the additional baklava, he simply placed it down and walked away—no courtesy, no “Would you like anything else?” or even a simple check-in about our drinks and food. His attitude throughout was indifferent, if not outright irritated.
Hoping to provide constructive feedback, we asked for a manager. A man finally showed up—who we hadn’t seen in the three hours we were there—and instead of addressing our concerns, he immediately made excuses, blaming the service on iftar rush. No apology, no accountability, just pure defensiveness. At that point, it was clear that this was just how the place operates.
To top it all off, another staff member stood nearby eavesdropping, then ran off to gossip with the others. No wonder the service was so slow—they were more interested in drama than doing their jobs.
I genuinely feel sorry for the owner because it’s obvious a lot of money has been invested in this place. But if the service continues like this, it won’t matter how nice it looks—I wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreI made a reservation on Ramadan iftar and they didn't inform me that it was buffet. When we reached there, it was 5:30 PM thinking we could place a la carte orders for iftar. But they said they only started taking a la carte order at 7:30 PM. So, we only had water and dates while waiting for 7:30 PM. We ordered shisha also while waiting.
Our order was finally taken at 7 PM as we begged to the waiter to at least take our orders so that we wouldn't have to wait too long to have our foods ready. He agreed to take the order and said that he would punch in the orders at 7:15 PM.
We waited for another 2 hours for the foods and it wasn't even served until I approached the cashier desk and asked about our foods. It was almost 9:30 PM. So, the overall experience was pretty much disappointing. I have no complaints about the foods taste though. They're totally fine except that they're pricey. I don't think it's worth it.
Another bad experience was when we used the washroom. One of my friends who used the washroom before us, advised us to pull down the knob a bit harder, and so we did. Little did I know that one of the hostesses was inside that cubicle. When she went out, I went in. You know what she did?! She dimmed off the lights! I was confused and thought it was a motion censor light. I went out of the cubicle to check and realized that she did dim off the lights! So rude! She must be fired! That lady was a bit taller than the other 2 hostesses with a long ponytailed hair. If I'm not mistaken, her name was Soukaina. Please...
