On 28.02.2023 I bought the following watch at auction house artmark from Bucharest: Reiner Brand Grande Panama wristwatch, men's - "Mărțișor" - Fine Watches Auction #489/2023 (artmark.ro) under the link: https://www.artmark.ro/en/lot/reiner-brand-grande-panama-wristwatch-mens-en-75708. The watch was offered without papers, however, I had no doubts in the authenticity and legality, as the photos also showed the serial number (No. 114) from the watch. After some back and forth regarding shipping, I received the watch in Hamburg on 09.03.2023. In addition, the documents (in Romanian) are supplied by the Artmark. A few days later I contacted the watch manufacturer with the intention of requesting a service and revision for said watch. Obviously the watch was stolen, I learned this on 20.03.2023 when the police visited me and collected this watch from me by order of the local court. So, most galleries were closed already, but the Artmark satisfied my itch! There was the most unique and inspiring pieces of artwork, jewelry and furniture there to peruse through. My partner and I came across some signed sport memorabilia and antique casino machines. Just a treasure chest tucked away in the city. I recommend if you’re looking to buy art for yourself or loved ones, this is the place to start (the actual buying process, you’ll have to ask someone else)!
