This beautiful monument of representative neoclassical early 20th century architecture (the construction was completed between 1906 and 1912) is definitely worth seeing at least from outside. As I later found out, now the building is the headquarters of the National Library of Romania and it's been serving as such since 1955. In 1949 under the communist rule the the stock exchange was officially dissolved and the only thing reminiscent of that institution is the name of the palace.
