A dreamy place, perfect time to go is at sunset (check Google when it is). Make the reservation around that time, I was on a thursday and it was packed, including the bar and standing tables). They had live music and it was a very pleasant surprise. The service was good, there was a smiling waiter allocated to the top terase, where I was sitting who was checking regurlarly without being anoying. They will bring blankets if you ask. The food was good, salty for my taste, is something common in Romania, so if you have dietary restrictions is worth sharing when you order. The dips and breads were delicious, the cauliflower dip was surprising, the cheese and bacon was veryvtasty, but you cant feel the bacon per say, is more of an idea. The beef arugula salad was good, I like the mix of tastes between ingredients, but also very salty and the beef slightly overcooked. The cocktail was interesting, on the sweet side, but quite tasty. The prices were high, but considering the location, live music, and service, is expected. Is a place worth visting for a romantic evening, going out with friends or simply have a nice evening by yourself to enjoy the view, feel the breeze and taste an...
Read moreMy wife and I had supper here the other night, and glad we chose this restaurant close to our hotel. It was very busy, and I would certainly recommend a reservation. We booked a table with one of the domes on the rooftop portion of this establishment (Closer to the Moon). It certainly protected us from the elements, but the acoustics were a bit strange - you share the plastic dome with others. This leads to hearing other conversations (and yours) quite easily. A loud table with you? It will really not be good. If the weather is nice, I highly recommend just eating outdoors - they have great blankets and furs if you get chilled. As for the food, our mains were good (ribs and the salmon Risotto), but my philo pastry with feta was delicious. I highly recommend this starter - my wife had starter envy hahaha. Being in the globes also seemed to shelter you from waiter interaction - we waited a while before anyone came to see us. Also, being in the globes took away from the great views. Overall, a very good place, but I would suggest "roughing it" and get a nice table along the...
Read moreI was really disapointed by this place. I came for the view which is ok, nothing to bother coming for. The food is not extraordinary. But the prices ate high enough to pay for decor, not quality. The service is acceptable only when a critical situation takes place like the waiter droping the plates with leftover over my pants and shoes. He hurried to pick up the plates and rushed away, leaving me alone to find the means to wipe my pands and shoes off mustard and ketchup. When I went to complained the only excuse was "I didn't see you" ( great to know the attention they pay to customers) and "Sorry". I asked to talk to a manager, nobody show up for 30 minutes so I paid and left. This place needs to train their stuff and untill they do, to drop the "high" false status. The place is full of kids with nothing to do but post pictures on instagram. There is nothing special about a place that cannot handle a critical situation and all they can offer is a lame "sorry". There are other rooftop restaurants and bars you can try that can offer customer service, good food, a...
