So on some websites this hotel is advertised to be a luxurious hotel so this isn't true, because most of the stuff in the hotel room and bathroom are falling apart. The room is big and the bed is comfy, but other than this, there is no advantage in booking this hotel. Curtains fall completely down when you try to close them, bathroom fixtures are rusty, and some of them are falling down. The doors of closets and dreser do not close or close way too much in the depth of the closet that you can't open it again easily. Also most of the pictures of the outside are not correct anymore. There are no lights or anything that indicates there is an open hotel here, but there is a small sign beside the door. The AC makes loud noise and the fridge heats up the room! Most of the carpet is dusty Shower head is rusty and dirty with white and green dirt all over it. Although the location seems close to the center, those streets around the hotel are not nice to walk in. You get people yelling at you for passing in front of their shops!

They charged us for 145 euro for one night from 4 am in 6.4.2025 to next day 7.4.2025 , but in the morning they asked us to pay more for another night claiming that we paid for the 5.4.2025 - 6.4.2025 not the 6.4.2025 , I asked him explicitly that it's for the 6.4.2025 to 7.4.2025 . ( I can't share my private check-in details as a proof , basically if we go to court using the documents we do win the court, however is anyone really has the time and effort to do so rather than enjoying the vacation ) In breakfast we got omelette with simple cheese ( we did pay extra for breakfast ) some yogurt and more... Yet I have been in many hotels this was the lowest cost value , so overall worst hotel deal I had ever so far up to this moment , you can see the video as a proof what you may get for breakfast, some stuff are extremely nice others may stab you and steal your money!!! Basically if this review was not accepted by Google, then I believe google is fake and I would never review again or ever read google ever again !!!

We stayed here in October for 3 nights. The hotel is so cool if you like history, it was a bit run down and not really comparable to a UK 5 star but we enjoyed it. It was quiet enough to sleep and the bed was huge! The receptionist was a bit grumpy but it actually made us laugh, he told us not to pay extra for breakfast because it wasn't worth it 😂 I appreciated the honesty! The location was fab, only a 3-4 minute walk from the old town with lots of great places to eat and drink, there's also a corner shop very close by that was good to get snacks and drinks from. I'd definitely stay at the hotel again. Just be aware all facilities may not be available though, the bar & restaurant was closed as not enough guests but again it was easy enough to find bars and places to eat a small walk away.

I booked the capsa hotel that read in the advertisement that there was air conditioning. ||||||How do I give 0 stars? ||I booked a room at the Capsa Hotel for one night before a flight the following day, as I found a cheap fare. Big mistake! This hotel is crumbling at every corner. The hotel looks very regal and a nice old style. But that’s because it is… I used the elevator and it literally stopped between 0 and the 1st floor and the doors opened. The receptionist pressed 2 again and it stopped again 5 seconds later. It was very worrying that it continued to stop, luckily it went back down to the first floor. ||I tried using the shower and it had great pressure but the water continues to get backed up and my feet were in 3 inches of water within 30 seconds. I washed my feet separately and tried to use some lotion but I realized that they just left used small bottles. ||The straw that broke the camel’s hump was the ineffective air conditioning. I tried to complain about it but the receptionist was completely useless. He was so ineffectual and constantly lied about the “procedures” of the hotel. I simply asked for a refund so that I may sleep somewhere with working ac. He continued to give me the run around about hotel and website “policy”. I booked the room on Expedia and was told by the receptionist that they need to issue the refund. And after confirming with Expedia, it was at the discretion of the hotel. Which obviously wasted an hour or so. He then called his manager and they said that I should’ve brought the issue up earlier in the day. But why would I spend time in the hotel, when I’m here to explore Bucharest. I brought the issue up around 7pm. ||The receptionist continued to lie and misrepresent the truth constantly during our 2 hour argument. He then tried to tell me the hotel room was non refundable but that means I can’t cancel before I check in, not if the hotel misrepresents itself in marketing campaigns. He then tried to sell me an upgrade to a double room that I would have to pay the difference. Which is obviously ridiculous. All I was asking for was a refund so that I could sleep in comfort. ||The receptionist was being very demeaning and patronizing. I did have pity on him at first considering he was so ugly his hair was running from his face. One of 6 hairs on his above his forehead and the rest of it was...

I stayed for five nights while attending a conference in Bucharest. My room, and the hotel in general, was extremely comfortable and clean, and well-maintained. The location, a few steps off Calea Victoriei, could not be improved upon — central and close to just about everything. The photos accurately represent the room I had (except that fortunately my room didn't not have the tied-back curtain that frames the headboard in the photo here).||My room overlooked a large courtyard covered with a glass roof . The downside was that I had to check the internet to learn whether it was raining or not, but the positive side was the fact that the room was extremely quiet. And sunlight does penetrate the courtyard and room. It was far from dark. And the curtains did a much better job of blacking out the room at night than I am used to in hotels.||The only problems: a finicky shower in which the tiniest adjustments could take the water temperature from cold to dangerously hot, and whose handset sprayed in more directions than it should. On the other hand, the water pressure was, if anything, excessive -- unusual in hotels.||Also, breakfast was not great. The coffee that comes out of their machine was not particular high in caffeine, and honestly some of the baked goods were stale. This could easily be improved. Variety was ok.||But overall, I was very comfortable in the Capşa hotel, and would happily return. The staff was helpful and friendly throughout my...
