Un muzeu interesant aflat în demisolul Catedralei Ortodoxe. Acesta a fost deschis în anul 1938 și reorganizat în decursul anilor. Muzeul cuprinde tipărituri din secolele XVII-XIX, manuscrise liturgice din secolele XV-XIX, icoane pictate pe lemn și sticlă(începând cu secolul XVI), obiecte de cult, prețioase fragmente de frescă din prima jumătate a secolului XV. Una dintre sălile muzeului(dominată de statuia lui Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt, ctitor și protector al ierarhilor ortodoxi de la Vad și Feleac) este dedicată personalității marilor ierarhi ai Eparhiei Ortodoxe Române a Clujului. În vecinătatea acesteia se află necropola ierarhilor. Sub pronaosul Catedralei, în zona centrală o amplă sală, înconjurată de mai multe săli și coridoare, creează o ambianță de mister și evlavie, evocând lumea mânăstirească, pe cea a catacombelor paleocreștine sau a bisericilor subterane. Câteva săli sunt dedicate icoanelor pe sticlă, unde un număr mare de icoane ilustrează diferite faze ale celui mai vechi centru transilvănean de pictură pe sticlă care a funcționat la Mănăstirea Nicula și în satul...

Vizita a fost una foarte plăcută. Acest muzeu este situat la demisolul Catedralei Ortodoxe din Cluj și conține o serie de obiecte legate de istoricul Mitropoliei Transilvaniei. Printre altele, aici sunt expuse o serie de cărți religioase din secolele XVII-XVIII, icoane pictate din acea perioadă precum și obiecte de cult. Tot aici se găsesc și mormintele mitropoliților...
