Meteor Central — Hotel in Cluj Metropolitan Area

Wardrobes have bugs that eat your clothes. Half my t-shirts are destroyed, the hotel doesn't care, and neither does booking.com staff. The room was extremely cold, horrible heat isolation (took 5 hours for the room to stop being a freezer), didn't have an AC (despite booking.com saying it did). Oh, and the receptionist wasn't there half the time, had to call the hotel each time we needed something.

Absolutely horrible experience, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Edit to reply to the hotel: I didn't complain while I was there because, guess what, I didn't check until we left. We were there for exactly 2 days, so we were mostly outside. Solve this problem for me: we got there, we left our clothes in the wardrobe, went around the city for 2 days, and we left. When we ended up in the next destination, all my t-shirts have bite marks in them. So - what might be the problem, hmm?

I'm generally very lax with reviews - I only leave 5-star reviews both on Booking and Maps, except when I get horrible service and THEN ARGUED WITH ABOUT HORRIBLE SERVICE.

At least have the decency to say, "Sorry, we don't know what's the problem, we're going to look into it" instead of accusing...

Ok, this hotel wasn't as bad as the title suggests but it was pretty depressing inside. Smoky rooms with brown decor and sheets but you couldn't fault the location.||||I ended up in Cluj for a random reason but I actually found the place pretty lovely with excellent bars and restaurants and if you come from an expensive city like London then you can eat and drink like a king its that cheap.||||One worrying thing that did happen was when we left to go out one night we left our keys with reception - when we came back at about 3am all the keys that were left were placed on the reception desk with no staff around. The keys all had the room numbers stated on them so anybody could have robbed our stuff.||||I would recommend this hotel but only because of if cheap price and location. Recently I booked in advance, for anevent at Cluj Arena, one double room at this hotel, for 2 nights.|As strong points:|- great location, central, although far away from Cluj Arena (aprox. 30 min on foot)|- nice personal at reception and the breakfast room.|-clean hotel|Things that could be improved:|- the rooms are very small and with old furniture, the bed was very small|- a strange A/C machine, not very helpful|- in the bathroom, the shower drain was partially clogged|- the rooms are not very soundproofed, in the night, we heared the steps and the voices from our neighbours from above.||Is good to know that this hotel hasn`t...
