Klausen Burger — Restaurant in Cluj Metropolitan Area

The best thing about this place, in my opinion, is called Red Revolution. it's the red beer that they brew right there apparently but I don't know that for a fact at least that is what I understood by reading there menu. Apparently they craft their own beer and serve it there. The main reason why I'm writing this with only three stars is the staff which does not seem friendly enough to me they seem called when they serve you and don't seem to pay attention to your needs which to me is important. On another note, if you're lucky enough to find a table up on the terrace on the rooftop the view of Cluj-Napoca is amazing. It's just delightful to be there at the sunset with a pint of Red Revolution in front of you. I have eaten there several times and I have to say there food is not exceptional but it will fill your stomach so I guess it does the job but on that note I don't think it justifies the steep prices. so if you're looking for a good pint of red beer and the great view of Cluj-Napoca worthy of telling your relatives about then go there check it out but it's not a place that I would come...

I had a great experience at Klausen Burger Brewhouse, located on the top of the central shopping center in Cluj-Napoca. The access to the brewhouse is made through the elevator located in the front-left side of the shopping center, which was easy to find.

The food at Klausen Burger Brewhouse was delicious, with decent portions that were just the right amount. I ordered the picanha with gorgonzola pasta, and it was very tasty. I also tried the Amadeus beer, which was excellent and definitely worth trying.

One thing to note is that there is no parking on the premises, and they do not have their own parking lot. However, this wasn't an issue for me as I was able not using my car this time.

The rooftop terrace at Klausen Burger Brewhouse was a highlight of my visit, offering a stunning view of almost the entire city. The waiter was quick at serving both food and drinks, and had good manners throughout my visit.

Overall, I highly recommend Klausen Burger Brewhouse for anyone visiting Cluj-Napoca. The food and drinks were excellent, the service was great, and the rooftop terrace with a view...

So, here's the thing: I really love this place and came here many times, bringing many local and international friends to enjoy one of the most upscale places in Transylvania, not just Cluj. Klausen is in an excellent location, with great ambiance and food, among the few ones where I could take anyone without hesitation. Until yesterday, unfortunately. We reserved a place for 12 people, we arrived, sat down and waited around 15 minutes for the menu's, than 10 minutes to get the drinks, mine was forgotten, so I asked once again and then waited once again for around 20 minutes to the waiter to take the order. Everything was of great quality but took way too long to even ask, not to deliver. I understand that good things need time to prepare, no issues with that, and we were not in a hurry, but for a place like this, such unprofessional service is a disappointment, both me and my colleague agreed that we'll not come back with guests anymore, because we don't want to embarass ourselves.
