Such a lovely museum, and because everything is in Slovakian the guide showed me around and explained what was on display, and answered any questions I had about the photos, uniforms etc.
It's an interesting exploration of crime and policing in Slovakia from the 1800s to the modern day, with artifacts, clothing and replica models to paint the history of an interesting part of society. I wouldn't recommend it for sensitive children due to the graphic nature of some of the images and stories, and there are human remains on display, which I understand have socio-religious implications for some, but otherwise I recommend it to everyone! It's free, but when I arrived the security guard called up for the curator who came to collect me and turn the lights on in the museum, so it's something of a hidden gem in the city (I emailed the day before to check it was open, which I think is probably advisable just in case!).
