One of the most beautiful parks in Bratislava. Located just behind Presidential Palace, on the way from the train station, it is a quiet place, full of trees, grass, large alleys, modern and classical statues. The park is usually full of children with their parents, and couples having picnic or kissing under the trees on the benches. One of the alley is the Presidents Alley, where different presidents who visited during the years have an oak tree planted in their honor. Definitely a place to enjoy...

If you're looking for a nostalgic throwback to the communist days then here's where to go, surrounded by block buildings at one side which along with the garden itself are not very taken care of give the area a sadder look than it should as the trees and plants are beautiful and admirable along with the palace on the other side, the fountain, which was inoperative and full of dirt when I visited, added to the areas' shady look. Very upsetting to me in the end. Needs more taking care of in...

We've been there in winter so the garden seemed a bit empty with all that sad statues around, soviets spoiled it not so much, so it can be pretty in spring - fresh air, nice calm atmospere. And of course the beautiful Grassalkovich Palace, looks fantastic. It is using like a...

Nice park to visit, it is nicely decorated with flowers and a fountain. It is a gated park and it closes during the evening, so make sure to visit during the morning or afternoon. Good place to have a quick lunch or picnic, there are some supermarkets nearby.
