Wide, bright and beautifully decorated square. The palace can be seen beautifully from all angles, left and right of the gate. A landscaped yard with lots of flowers. behind the palace, from the park you can see the whole building and the beautiful architecture. The white color contributes to the beauty and purity of the building and looks baroquely beautiful and grandiose. The park behind the palace is beautifully landscaped, with paths and benches, and is great for a coffee or a rest during the day or evening. It's always quiet in the palace, with the occasional security guard. This place must be visited when you are in Brstislava. Enjoy.

Одно из самых красивых сооружений Братиславы – Президентский дворец, который еще называют Дворец Грассалковича. Достопримечательность пользуется огромной популярностью у туристов и является по-настоящему знаковым местом для словаков. Причём не только потому, что на данный момент – это действующая резиденция первого в истории президента женщины, но и потому, что это одно из самых популярных и обязательных мест к посещению. С 1760 года во дворце устраивались самые роскошные балы, приёмы и вечера в сопровождении оркестра, которым дирижировал сам Йозеф Гайдн. Первым владельцем дворца был граф Антон Грассалкович, друг королевы Марии Терезии — именно он был самым большим поклонником шумных светских раутов. После резиденцию унаследовал сын Графа – он перестроил здание, и уже в реконструированном состоянии дворец достался эрцгерцогу Фредерику – это произошло в 1897 году. К сожалению, фамильным имением для эрцгерцога дворец не стал и в 1919 году перешёл в собственность государства. Тридцать лет спустя здание отдали пионерам, и за период его использования оно было довольно сильно повреждено, в связи с чем в 1996 году его пришлось реставрировать, после чего дворец стал известен уже под своим нынешним названием — «Президентский». Локация очень полюбилась туристам со всего мира благодаря красивейшему фонтану со скульптурой земного шара, расположенному у входа во дворец. Скульптура символизирует мир и согласие между народами. Но и само по себе здание является предметом всеобщего восхищения: Президентский дворец представляет собой классический жилой дом в стиле позднего барокко. Симметричный двухэтажный фасад посередине разделен авангардом с аркадами и балконом, окружающим главный вход. К сожалению, попасть внутрь дворца нельзя, так как он используется для государственных нужд, однако можно погулять вокруг, полюбоваться цветочным садом во французском стиле, который открыт для публики.

Grassalkovich Palace in Slovakia is an absolute must-visit for history enthusiasts. I was enthralled by the grandeur and rich heritage of this remarkable landmark. Stepping onto the palace grounds, I was immediately struck by the awe-inspiring yellow façade and intricate Baroque details. The beautifully manicured gardens surrounding the palace added to the enchanting atmosphere. The fountains, perfectly trimmed hedges, and vibrant flowerbeds created a serene and picturesque setting.

The most impressing thing to get in this country is, how safe and chilling the city is, To have such an diplomatic Building in the middle of the city with no single Security or Guards. One other very positive Impression, in spite being the Capital city, it is very quite on the streets, we have heard may be just twice an Ambulance-Sirens….For the first time of my whole life, driving in a Capital city is not so stressful as many others. One could feel here only well and safe.

Visto dall'esterno durante una mua passeggiata per Bratislava in occasione di un soggiorno nelle Festività della Pasqua 2023. Mi ha lasciato un segno profondo per la Sontuosita' regale di questo luogo. Posto in una piazza enorme circondata da palazzi fubuna bellezza mozzafiato. Di buon mattino, durante una passeggiata nel cuore di Bratislava, come di solito faccio quando mi reco in visita in una delle tante capitali della nistea Europa. Ti imbatti nelle persone che magari vanno a lavoro o in giro per divertimento o altro. Mi ha colpito la compostezza e l'eleganza delle persone che ho incontrato e la cortesia che li contraddistingue verso il visitatore. Nella piazza antistante il Palazzo del Presidete, in particolare... Un signore che consumava una colazione seduto su di una panchina condivideva un dolce o forse un semplice panino con un corvo affamato anch'esso che glu girava intorno in attesa che lui gli lanciasse una mollica del suo pasto frugale. Ed egli con gioia elargiva gran parte della sua frugale colazione. Questa scena rivelava un grande contrasto con la magnificenza composta ed allo stesso tempo... Regale...
