I'm a female solo traveller and the only thing about travelling on my own that I don't like is going out for dinner. This place was close to my hotel and the reviews were good so I tried it, so glad I did. It is down a quiet street but the area seems safe and it looks like a place locals go to more than a tourist hot spot. The menu has English translations. I had dumplings with cheese and bacon (which were amazing), the house red wine (so tasty for €1.50 a glass) and 2 gin and tonics. My bill was less than €13 and honestly I would of happily pay more. The service was great (not in your face and not ignoring you), the place is clean and it looks like a place locals eat in. I wish I'd found this place in day one, definitely worth a visit

Worst experiencie of my life. Most regrettable decision I've ever taken. The waiter didn't even speak english nor even slovak I think. He took 1 hour to bring the drinks because he had forgotten what we chose (we had to remind it at least 3 times, the last one was, against our principles, with a not very friendly tone). And to make things worse, we had to wait for almost 20 minutes until the forks and knives were brought. After, we even saw the costumers in the table in front of us having to stand up in order to get their own knives and forks. Then, he also forgot to bring one of the dishes because he didn't realise that we were 6 people instead of 5 (the waiter at least had the nice gesture to give us some snacks for free). Later, he brought the dish and it was so disgusting. You can see in the photo how greassy and unappetizing was the dish. I have to mention that one of our accompanions ordered the schnitzel and it was unexpectedly good. Honestly, if you're ever in Bratislava, go to any restaurant but this one. P.D: Tripadvisor is not a trustworthy website.

We were looking for somewhere to have authentic food and we found this place through the internet. It's not in the old city but it's close to the train station which is nice. We ordered the burger with yam fries (10,90), beef with potato dumplings (11,90), Viennese coffee (2,50) and pancakes (4,50) for dessert. The burger was pretty standard. The beef with potato dumplings didn't have much beef but it was not bad. The pancakes with the berry sauce was our favourite. The prices here are very affordable and the portions are decent. The service is fast. If you are in Bratislava for a short stay, I would recommend it if you are on your way to the train station

During an impromptu Sunday day trip to Bratislava, we were looking for Slovakian fare, away from Old Town and without Old Town prices. We sat on a lovely patio at the rear of the restaurant. While they had run out of a number of menu items (including most of their beer selections), everything we ordered was fantastic. The schnitzel was crisp, tender, and juicy. The goulash and dumplings were rich and flavorful. The sorbet had flecks of lime peel throughout. Service was quick and friendly. We'd not hesitate to return. Even the WC adds something to the experience.

Best restaurant I've experienced in Slovakia and neighbouring countries. My first visit was late and they offered takeaway. I ordered cordon bleu (dinner) and goulash(breakfast for next morning). Goulash was a bit too salty for me but the cordon bleu was great. The next day, I went back for lunch and ordered Schnitzel, Slovak salad and some dessert. Schnitzel and salad were served quickly. The desert was a little delayed but still came out fairly fast. The servers were highly efficient and were quick to catch despite English not being their first language.
