Enigmarium, Escape Room Ljubljana — Attraction in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

We did the Virus Outbreak room and absolutely loved it. Only one of us had done an escape room before but had never made it out. We had so much fun doing it and it was so satisfying that we made it out as well with just 30 seconds remaining.

They have locker facilities and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Spoke perfect English as well and on the various phone calls I have had with them, they have been incredibly helpful and advised us on which room to book for beginners.

No prior knowledge about anything is required and no knowledge about any language. Would recommend for anyone who is in Maribor.

We were coming all the way from Budapest and were running a little late. But the staff was kind enough to delay our booking by almost an hour.

Only slight problem was finding the actual entrance to the escape room (almost like the opposite of an escape room). It is kind of between 2 buildings, but simply calling them would do it as well and they'll be happy...

Already done over 50 escape rooms including some really good ones, so I tried not to expect too much of this one, but I really liked it! Did the werewolf room with 2 players. Make sure you check the adress since they have 2 adresses (just 30meters apart, but still). Friendly host who welcomed us. Beautiful room, solid story, some really cool puzzles I had not seen before. We made it with 1 minute left, I think. Make sure you ask for hints if you feel like you are really stuck. We asked for a hint at a certain puzzle we could not complete which would have taken us maybe 10 more minutes (maybe 30 even:p), but overall I feel like we rushed through most puzzles pretty well. It is not as good as some of the better escape rooms we did in the Netherlands, but if you really are an escape room enthusiast, this one is also worth it:) Would not recommend this specific room to beginners, but they have other...

We booked The Lost Submarine: Operation Waterman for a double date. Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical if we're gonna be able to solve all the puzzles since two of us had never been to an escape room and the other two weren't experts either.

All my doubts dissipated the second we got locked into the submarine- I was busy taking in the carefully crafted steampunk-ish design of the room and all of its unique details that create a really immersive experience, while trying to figure out where the puzzles are hiding and how to solve them. They were quite hard but logical and challenging enough to have our brains firing on all cylinders.
