TINK superfood - Poke Bowls | Brunch | Matcha — Restaurant in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

I'm really disappointed with the unprofessional service of this breakfast restaurant. I ordered a plate with locally farmed eggs, and my boyfriend ordered a poke bowl. We paid, and started the waiting process when we hadn't been informed that they ran out of eggs… my boyfriend got his meal, and coffee, and was waiting for over 20 minutes to start his meal, because I hadn't brought mine. I asked politely after 10 minutes where my breakfast was, and the waiter told me it was being done and it would be ready in a minute, after 5 minutes she told me they ran out of eggs and they needed to go to the shop right now… my boyfriend got his meal cold after all this time of waiting for me. I worked in many coffee shops and can't imagine selling something without informing the client that we run out of a specific product, and telling them the “extra wait” time. I do appreciate that my favorite poke bowl Aloha Tuna still taste the same as 5 years ago. But the prices are quite expensive. As someone who owns and works in hospitality I do understand the situation in the industry is not as flourishing as it used to be (higher wages, rent, electricity, food prices etc.) but we live in Slovenia, not London. 14€ for a medium sized poke bowl with huge portion pf rice is extremely expensive. Especially after you add in a drink. The service is quite slow, although the waiters seemed to be working fast. I waited about 30' from stepping in right at the cashier to get my order to the table. I'd look into work optimization and looking into at least serving the drinks to the guests if the food cannot be served in real time. However the...

This used to be my favourite poke, but to be honest, lately this is very overpriced for what you get. I have been eating poke all over when travelling and this is the least fish I get, but the highest price till now. For 14-15 eur, I expect a few edamame beans ( that I do not have to pay additional 3,5 eur for) and less rice, more vegetables and more protein. These things should be improved, I recommend the owner to take a trip to Trieste to Kauai poke and see how much fish you get for 12 eur there.
