I would give 10 stars to this place if I could. The best burek I ever had (had to throw away some other one from their competitor the next day, did not even come close). I am vegetarian so I only tried the apple and cheese ones. They are literally lifesavers at night after walking 30 km a day as a tourist. So juicy, full of fillings, warm, made with love. Get the yoghurt with it too, definitely worth it. The service was also brilliant. On the first night I came there, there was a lovely guy who used to work in Prague where I am from, so it was so lovely that he spoke some Czech with me and was so friendly. The whole week in Ljubljana, I could not stop thinking of these lovely bureks and it was my place to go on the last day before I was leaving. Unfortunately this lovely guy was not there, but his colleague was also amazing and I told him that their bureks cannot be compared to anything else I had in Slovenia :) They also wrap them in a paper for you so they last warm so I could take them with me to Metelkova and ejoy it there in a park together with the yoghurt drink. This place, Čajnica Gallus and Pizza Parma will be definitely main reasons for me returning to Ljubljana one day :) I hope you will never close...

As a self-proclaimed burek aficionado with a love for homemade versions, Burek Olimpija falls more into the "greasy fast food" category than a culinary revelation. It's perfect for satisfying a late-night craving or grabbing a quick bite on the go, but don't expect the warm, comforting flavors of a home-cooked recipe.
The Good:
Convenient: Open 24/7, it's a lifesaver for late-night munchies or grabbing a quick breakfast before exploring Ljubljana. Variety: Offers classic meat, cheese, and apple fillings, along with their signature "pizza burek."
Fast Service: Window service keeps things efficient, ideal for when you're on the move. The Not-So-Good:
Flavor Profile: Leans towards the greasy side, lacking the nuanced flavors and flaky layers found in homemade burek.
Ambiance: No seating available, strictly grab-and-go. Not the place for a leisurely dining experience.
Price: While affordable, might not be the most budget-friendly option for frequent visits.
Overall:
If you're looking for a no-frills, fast food burek fix, Burek Olimpija hits the spot. However, if you seek authentic, homemade flavors, your taste buds might yearn for...

Lastly, When the employee asked me where i come from and i answered him that i am from Greece, he responded 3 times that he is from Macedonia
Later, he commented in Slovenian something at the next customer after me. I asked the customer and he told me that he was Albanian.
Joke with me? Political shit out of your mind or what?
Macedonia is GREECE, ungly employee from Albania, do you understand? Hope to meet you again some day and teach you what is Macedonia. Until then, sell now greasy pies and learn how to cut them.
