Wow! I am lost for words. I am writing this review in utter shock and disbelief.

I came in not knowing what type of perm I wanted to do, but Bong-Goo, the director with over 11yrs. experience, and Cho-A, the lead assistant, were extremely nice and helped me decide on the type of perm to get. Not only are they friendly, but very trustworthy as well.

Sadly, 11 years ago, I visited Korea and went to a salon in Gangnam, but my experience left me feeling disappointed to the extent that I never wanted to get my hair done in Korea - like ever. The haircut was so bad, I had to fix it when I returned home. I was so reluctant to visit another hair salon, but I was in dire need of a change. I really wanted a different look.

I have naturally wavy hair, but over the years, some areas were wavy, while other areas fell flat. Frizzy hair was my new norm, and that’s why I decided to give Korea another try.

After doing my share of research, I came across Juno Hair in Myeongdong. With high and great reviews, I took the option to book an appointment online. Within the hour, I received an email that my appointment was confirmed, and another email with a friendly message from the staff with the same confirmation. So personable, so efficient, and super convenient.

Bong-Goo explained the types of perm he offers, but recommended a root volume perm and digital perm. Never have I love done this before, so with an anxious heart, I agreed. Perm includes a haircut, but as mentioned before, I have trauma from long ago. To break that trauma, I decided to trust Bong-Goo and went with all that he recommended.

Every step was handled with care and love. It almost felt like I was their VIP client of many years. The level of detail and depth that went into my experience has left me smiling from ear to ear.

I also have to mention, Cho-A’s gentle skill in washing my hair left me feeling really good and relaxed.

I can’t stop raving about Juno Hair - Myeongdong Branch. I can’t wait to show my husband my new hair style. And what I can’t wait the most is the next time I visit Korea again so that I can return to this specific location to get another hair-do.

You won’t regret spending your time, money and efforts visiting here. You must try it for yourself, at least once! It’s worth it, and much more!!!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Juno Hair, thanks to Rua and her amazing team! From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly pampered.

They offered a drinks menu to choose from along with Korean snacks. We started with a helpful scalp analysis using a microscope, which revealed my scalp's sensitivity. Rua was very understanding and suggested treatments without any pressure. We then discussed my cut, color, and treatment plan, and the team got straight to work.

The hair washing experience was absolutely amazing. Each station is set in a relaxing, dimly lit room with massage chairs that recline into beds. I had incredible leg and body massages while my hair was washed and my face was steamed. The head and neck massage during the second wash was insane lol. I almost drifted off to sleep both times. It was such a nice surprise.

Rua did a fantastic job with my color, treatment, and cut, and the team finished with beautiful, light curls. I'm genuinely thrilled with the results and the entire experience. I can confidently say this is one of the best salon experiences I've ever had, and I'll definitely be returning to this Juno location.

The level of service and hospitality was truly outstanding - thank you Rua and the Juno team!

Here are a few more highlights: They provide secure lockers with personalized codes for your belongings. Rua's team noticed I was cold and thoughtfully gave me a heat pack, even bringing it to the washroom. They even charged my phone when they saw it was low on battery (I cry) -The salon is impeccably clean, and the bright, sunny atmosphere with a great view made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I originally booked for a perm, but I couldn't get it done because I previously bleached my hair so she didn't want to cause any further damage. Totally understandable but just an FYI in case you're interested. I'll definitely come back on my next visit to get a perm though.

We recently visited Juno Hair as a family of six, including our three energetic boys, and we couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, professional, and incredibly welcoming — perfect for both adults and kids.

The stylists were exceptionally attentive and clearly experienced in working with children. Our boys can be a bit squirmy when it comes to haircuts, but the team was so patient, engaging, and efficient that the boys actually enjoyed the process! Each haircut was clean, stylish, and perfectly suited to their personalities.

As for the adults, the hair treatments were luxurious and rejuvenating. The staff took the time to understand our hair needs and delivered fantastic results. Our hair felt healthier, shinier, and full of life after the treatment — a total refresh!

What really stood out was the attention to detail, the calm yet vibrant environment, and how the staff made us feel like family. They truly went above and beyond to make sure each member of our family left happy and looking great.
