If you’re wandering the neon-lit maze of Myeongdong and craving something unapologetically Korean, look no further than 무쇠김치삼겹. This place is all about one thing: cast iron-grilled kimchi and thick slabs of pork belly cooked right at your table. And trust me—it delivers.
The aroma hits you first—fermented kimchi searing on hot iron, mingling with juicy samgyeopsal that crackles and pops like a promise. The staff keeps things moving, helping flip the meat with precision, ensuring it’s perfectly crispy on the outside, tender inside. Their house-aged kimchi? A revelation. Sour, spicy, smoky—it clings to the meat like it was meant to be together.
The space is cozy, loud, and buzzing with hungry diners—exactly the kind of place you want for a proper Korean BBQ experience. Whether you’re a local on lunch break or a tourist ticking off culinary musts, this spot feels authentic without trying too hard.
Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the flavor? Bold, fiery, unforgettable.

We Start ordering 2 pork meats dishes then after adding one more order. They brought little portion of cooked meat from the kitchen. It should have served with uncooked meat with kimchi and tofu. The way how they describe on their menu . But they looked like leftovers from other tables and without tofu and kimchi. We ordered the soybeans soup and ingredients weren’t even cooked and the server had to carry her cell phone with soup. I’m Korean and this place is very very disappointing. Really really disappointed with price of the meat and many other things. Go around...
Read moreInteresting experience. We ordered the set that comes with mugwort, kimchi and toufu for 5 pax. The staff cooked the meat for us and this saved us from the oil spurting. We also ordered kimchi soup with ramen, fried rice and spring onion seafood pancake to go along with our bbq. The pancake is crispy and the spring onion taste is not strong. The fried rice is very nice and highly recommended. Kimchi soup is delicious with the kimchi slightly on the sour side. The ramen absorbs the kimchi soup and brings it up another level.
Even though service is fast, do come early if you don’t...
