Myeongdong Restaurant The Sic-ddang — Restaurant in Seoul

I was very angry after my meal. Angry that I only found this place on my last evening here in Seoul.

We ordered the lobster combo. The first course was the cockles bibimbap. I can only say that I will be returning to Seoul again every year just to have a taste of the cockles bibimbap.

The next course was the lobster. The size was normal. It was fantastic. Better than most restaurants that claimed to serve good lobsters.

Finally came the clam soup with noodles. I told my self if the clam soup noodles blew me away, I might just quit my life and stay in Korea. When I tasted it, I could feel the taste of warm sea in my mouth. It wasn’t as overwhelming as the first 2 dishes but definitely great to clear the palate.

Yes I’d definitely come back again. Will I introduce this to my friends? No. Cos I’m a selfish foodie and I want to have this place to myself everytime I come...

Food is really good here. We tried a few different servings of things, and it was liked all around the table. From young kiddo to adults. Restaurant is on the second floor.

Atmosphere - is really nice kinda have a fisherman’s warf kind of vibe. They have rope netting on the ceiling and wooden tables. For the side sitting areas, they have chain ropes, it really feels like we are next to the water, even though we arent. It is right off the path of all the stores.

Service - staff is really nice, and was happy to have a waiter that spoke english to help us. We really wanted to try everything and he helped us decide on what we should get.
