Juno Hair — Attraction in Seoul

✨ Review for Eun Hyuk – Juno Hair 1 Myeongdong Branch 1 ✨

I rarely write reviews but this one is a must! After getting countless compliments on my new haircut and colour, I had to give credit where it’s due — and that’s to Eun Hyuk from Juno Hair (Myeongdong Branch 1)!

💇‍♀️ I did a full haircut + dye + special treatment — and yes, it cost around $350 SGD, but it was worth every cent. You’re not just paying for hair services; you’re paying for true professionalism, comfort, and hospitality.

✨ I went in with zero idea what I wanted. The colour and haircut were 100% recommended by Eun Hyuk — and the result? Absolutely perfect. It suited me so well that I received endless compliments during livestreams and from people around me. He really knows what fits your face and skin tone!

Before/after photos speak for themselves (yes… look at that hair condition 😅). My hair was dry and damaged (not even bleached anymore), but Eun Hyuk didn’t push unnecessary treatments. He explained thoroughly why home conditioners are never enough, and recommended only what I truly needed.

💬 Even though there was supposed to be a language barrier, he took his time to speak in fairly fluent English, and for more complex explanations, he patiently used Papago to help translate. I truly appreciated his effort and sincerity — he made sure I understood why it’s important to take proper care of my hair, and you can feel he genuinely wants the best for his customers.

❤️ What I loved: • No upselling, just honest, thoughtful recommendations • Super comfy environment with unlimited free drinks — coffee, juice, tea, biscuits! • So attentive: Noticed my phone was dying and brought me a charger without asking, even passed me a pillow to rest my arms • During treatment, instead of the usual 10 mins wait, he had his assistant double-apply & massage the treatment to help my hair absorb better 🧴 • Hair wash was a whole spa experience 😍 — amazing massage, cotton pads to cover my eyes, blanket to keep warm • Even passed me a face shield board while blow drying when they saw my hair flying everywhere 😂

Honestly, I felt spoiled from start to finish. The whole session took about 3.5 hours but it flew by because I was enjoying myself the whole time.

If you’re in Seoul and looking for a trustworthy stylist, I highly recommend Eun Hyuk. I’ll definitely be back...

After 10 years i went back to juno hair. We booked different types of treatments. At first some of my group were a little bit scared that it could be a tourist trap kind of thing. We were a party of 6. Of which 5 of us had booked a scalp treatment and haircut. One only booked the treatment because she just had a haircut back home.

We arrived the same day so weren’t very familiar with myeongdong yet but kang moo (the hair director) came and pick us up. At first he would do an individual consultation, look at our scalps and determine our wishes and would give us advise. We never had the feeling that they were trying to upsell us things just trying to give us advise. And the price were always discussed upfront before we started the treatment.

During the treatment. Kang moo even treated us to donuts because we haven’t had anything to eat yet and because we were with a large group everything took a bit of time ( which we didn’t mind). So with drinks and food we got a lovely day at juno. During the treatment kang moo noticed that the one who would only have the treatment had uneven cut hair. He offered to cut the hair for hair again and adjust the hairstyle a little to suit her better. And that for free. I think this shows that he really cares a lot about his profession and the satisfaction of his customers. And also takes pride in delivering quality work.

Just in short. We as a group had a great time at juno and were very satisfied. As for products and stuff, they will ask if you want to buy them, but i myself didn’t really find them pushy or anything. Just say no or thank you if you are not interested and they don’t really push any more and if you would like to buy they are eager to help you. Although each experience can vary we as a group can recommend you to visit juno hair especially kang moo and his team. Chinees, english and korean were easy to communicate by. And just be clear with what you want. You are free to decide for yourself if you want to follow their advice or not 😉.

Although they will ask you to scan a qr for a review they never pushed for one. And you are always free to adjust or decline if you feel like it. For us they really deserve the 5 stars. See you...

I came here to Juno Hair in Myeongdong after seeing many positive reviews of the place and was definitely not disappointed! It was my first time getting my hair styled from a broom-like state where I had not cut my hair in 3-4 months as I wanted to get it done best for the first time in Korea.

My stylist was Shin Ho, and he was very mindful in instructing me and was very kindly translating words he said that I did not understand into English for me and clarified any doubts that I had during the procedure as it was my first time having these services for my hair (good hairstyling, hair washing, hair perming & hair treatment). He had a good eye for pointing out a hairstyle which suited me, was very careful and thorough during the haircutting, super informative of the proper aftercare required, and was overall super nice to us.

My mother and my sister had also come to do seperate services (such as hair colouring) from different stylists, Green, who was very fluent in English, and another stylist whose name I did not manage to get from my sister (she's asleep as I am typing this) but I believe it was one of the ladies on duty on the 18th of December at Myeongdong Branch 1, respectively.

They all provided us with amazing service, and to that one employee (who i'm guessing is a trainee) there who was watching over me while Shin Ho was applying the perming cream to my hair, all the best to you and I hope you do well! This was 100% one of the highlights of my trip to Korea, thank you Juno Hair! If I come back to Korea in the future, I will most definitely re-visit...
