we tried the 5 course menu and it was a delight, very deep flavors, rich and fresh; I have tried many menus of this type and this is the best so far.

the servers that night were fantastic, kind and friendly.

The only problem was at the time of the reservation, we were staying at the hotel and this did not pass the reservation to the restaurant; We stopped by a few hours early to ask for a window table; the young lady who served us seemed to try to prevent us from choosing a table;first she said "you can't reserve is according to the time people arrive" (crazy); then he said "maybe it's already reserved" he looked at the computer and it wasn't and then she said "what happens is that someone might reserve it"..in the end we got the table but it was between funny and...

I was surprised how good everything was. We arrived earlier than usual, around 6pm and thought they would be fully booked but they were not so we could seat anywhere we wanted. The service was attentive but without being too much on top of us. Very helpful and friendly helping us choosing wine and food. As we were visiting Sweden we went for an all Swedish menu kind of choices. Everything was delicious and fresh, oysters, meat, seafood... Everything! And you know the best part? I felt we paid a reasonable amount for it, less than I expected for the service and the quality. I just really can't understand why this place is not fully booked every day. OK, perhaps it's not your everyday restaurant, but as a slightly better option I believe it is...

Great tasting and a cosy atmosphere. Especially liked the reindeer steak and the "semla" for dessert. Vegetarian and fish options available. Could have wished for slightly bigger portions of the main course though (I like to feel that I get full, especially when eating in this price range) but I really like their conscious concept of no waste for creating the dishes. The complimentary bread was fresh with a cute look and I enjoyed the taste of the non alcoholic sparkling wine.
