From the beginning this place gave me the chill-Japanese vibes that I smell so much. The place inside is too cute, between the Japanese zen music and the typical decorations it is really appreciable. I came for a dinner with my family, I would have liked to come even more times but I was traveling and the next day I had to leave. Shortly after placing the orders, my father had a "black-out" and panic broke out, luckily he woke up, but during the crisis the staff gave us maximum support, and they were really precious. As for the food, I was so hungry that despite what had happened I decided to put something under my teeth. I had ordered a spicy ramen and I must say that it was delicious and with it also the sashimi and the miso soup. If we think about it, between the welcoming aspect of the restaurant, the inviting looking food with a delicious taste and the support received from the staff, I could not help but leave a well-deserved 5-star review, which I have never given to any other restaurant, because here, in a place that recreated a Japanese environment, I managed to feel at home, even if, alas, I have not yet...

I'm in town for a conference and tried to attend this restaurant for dinner tonight. I arrived and asked if I could sit outside and they that was fine so long as I pre-ordered everything and paid at the counter first. I took a few minutes to decide and ordered the Tempura Moriwase and Sashimi Moriwase only to be told I couldn't order anything from the "Chef's Specials".

These dishes were essentially just a mixed tempura and a mixed sashimi plate ... they had been given "special" sounding monikers of "moriwase" but were ordinary fare at any sushi restaurant I've ever been to.

The reason given was that they were too busy to do anything from the "Chef's Specials" but the restaurante was only 1/4 full with a total of maybe 4 tables sat and when I'd checked for reservations before coming there was room at every single time through the evening.

I have no idea whether their food is any good, but they managed to leave a terrible impression having served me exactly nothing as I excused myself and wished them a...

An amazing culinary experience!

When I came into this resturant I just thought, okay just another Sushi place, but shame on me!

Me and my friends from overseas had no expectations at all when we sat down to order our meal, since we couldn't get into one of the higer end resturants in Gothenburg.

We deciede to orderd the Kimuchi Nabe for 2 persons and the Gyuniku Tataki.

Service was great from the beginning "Please note that only Swedish and Japanese as a language is working for ordering ( the night we were there ) English not so much".

Starters was as you expect Edamame beans which was salted and gave it a nice flavour and great tasting dumplings both vegetarian and with minced beef/pork options also available.

But when the main course was served my mind was blown away, the Gyuniku Tataki is the best course I have tasted for many many years.

Please note, that pricing set, is with Sake, Seltzer water and Wine included per person.

And, yes it was just an great experince for me so I give...

3 is a little harsh, but it's not all the way worth a four for me. Service was great, lovely and friendly staff and a beautiful environment to dine in. I had 4 beef gyozas that came with a nice black vinegar dip for starters and then a bowl of pork tonkotsu ramen for a total of 298:-. The gyoza were very well cooked with a nice beef flavour, but not much else in them in terms of texture or aromatics. Some veggies and more flavour in the filling would have been nice. The tonkotsu broth had a clean flavour and was very good, albeit a bit one dimensional. Egg was perfectly cooked and noodles were nice but a little soft, not chewy enough. Could have used some more toppings and a little spice. The pork was really good. For 300 SEK it was a worthwhile experience and a good bowl of food, but not filling enough for me to be completely satisfied. I'm not sure the ramen is the way to go here either since I had a taste of my friend's Yaki Soba and that was delicious, and the Yakiniku looked wonderful.

a mixed success. -the waitress was very nice and very good at her job, but she was alone waiting more than 10 tables!! it took a very long time for us to get our food, 50 minutes, (even though i had booked a table in advance.) -the people at the table behind us arrived very drunk and only got drunker and more rude towards the staff. not good. there should have been two or maybe even three people waiting tables. 1 person is not enough, especially not when one table is very drunk like that. +the food was delicious as always, even if everything was chaotic. i missed the enoki mushrooms, but i still recommend the sukiyaki, it's great! +some of us ordered mochi for dessert, and it came served beautifully and was very good. +also, i liked that they didn't play any music over the speakers. it made the restaurant feel much calmer. conclusion: very good food, but very understaffed.
