This place is a lot of bad things. Against breastfeeding, children, people sitting down with something they ordered and a lot more. Serves overprised and poorly tasting food. Bad vegetarian food (seriously don't take the lasagna). The list is loooong. This place USED TO be good, then apparently they changed owners or boss and now there is a guy who runs the place who thinks it is perfectly fine to yell at customers for "taking up space" simply for wanting to sit down with their order they just bought from the café. They start trying to pick the food away if you haven't finished eating in 15 minutes. (Seriously, you'll lose that overprised but bland-tasting lunch, ice-cream etc if you don't hold on to it!) Allergic? Sorry, you can either come back when there is no line (of one person) behind you or never again, because most of the time they refuse to even listen when you ask questions concerning the food and your allergy. The owner/boss has no problems yelling and humiliating both customers and employees alike, most times over nothing. Like "taking up space". If you are bringing children Be Aware! There are a lot more people than just me who have seen (and heard if we where anywhere near the café) the owner/boss go off on parents. Breastfeeding your x-months old baby? Nope, because if the kid was initially in a stroller and the stroller is now empty because your baby needs to feed quickly then good luck, apparently that is a big no-no even if surrounding customers are not affected the owner/boss surely will be. The place can be half empty but your one stroller with a tiny sleeping baby WILL be in the way, according to the owner. (Reminder this is OUTSIDE.) Realised that the food you ordered was not only pricy but ridiculously so when tasting it? Sorry, no refunds and no apologies. At least not if the owner/boss is nearby, otherwise maaaaybe an apology but no refunds.
Poor souls that work there! Some actually are nice but get degraded by the owner/boss when he feels like it. I admire anyone walking out from that work experience without having anger issues...
Read moreThere is a sign at the cash desk that strollers are not allowed in the dining room and on the terrace. Only with small children. Unfortunately, my 3rd son and I were tourists in the city, we walked 10 km and unfortunately we were with a stroller.
So we left kassa and went in from the terrace. I had a tray, water on it, cake, a child, a stroller and an umbrella in my hands. It was raining and I couldn't leave the stroller in the parking lot without a canopy. I just sat the child down and put the tray with the spilled water on the cake on the table. The thought for the next seconds was where to put the stroller and of course what to do with the water on the cake. At the cash desk strange man in a cap stood and watched me suffer and as soon as my son sat down and I put the tray on the table, he came up and rudely made a remarks that strollers are not allowed.
I didn’t even have time to put the stroller in the stroller parking lot! Do you think I go around your cafe, following your rules, to put the stroller at the table on the terrace?
I think it was the owner everyone is talking about!!! Now I understand my friend’s advice not to go to this cafe. Thanks to the cafe workers, the girls at the checkout and the men in black aprons in the hall, you were very...
Read moreTerrible service. The person in charge was very rude. They had a connection problem with payment by credit card so started to treat the people that was trying to pay very badly.
As everyone was speaking in Swedish and I was the next one on the line and wanted to make sure I could pay with credit card, I've asked the manager in English, who replied very angry in Swedish when I've asked very polite.
Besides that the family after me in the line just ignore me and pass through to order, and the attendees didn't say nothing. This cafe its inside a very nice public garden park so they should expect that foreign people will be visiting and a lot of them not Swedish speakers.
Unfortunately, the all experience was really bad. From the place to the Swedish people, that usually are very polite and...
