there are many things i LOVE about aryam. the flavours and textures are as near perfect as you can get, the gelato is absolutely delicious. though the size is slightly smaller than many other gelato places - good for some but might perhaps make it less worth it for others. but they donât charge extra for the (absolutely delicious and perfectly salted) pistachio as several other places do (like snö). they also seem to be the only place alongside stikkinikki who make vegan gelato (that isnât just sorbet) that they completely nail flavour and texture-wise. love love love! though, i do wish that they strained the berry skins/seeds out of their sorbets but thatâs a personal preference.
my main gripe is that aryam donât allow customers to sample the flavours - which doesnât sound too deep really, however, as an autistic person certain textures and the flavours of certain ingredients are really difficult for me to handle and if i canât taste something iâm unsure of beforehand i often miss out on something i could like - but canât take a risk on if it doesnât look like i can handle the texture etc. itâs a small issue but iâm sure it limits a lot of customers who are like me (i have skipped getting gelato once or twice because i couldnât justify spending the money on something i didnât know i would be able to eat)- even if it likely makes the staffs job easier (but as someone who also works at a gelato shop itâs usually worth it to allow customers to sample the flavours just because it helps them choose what they will enjoy the most but also itâs fun and customers appreciate the good service).
but with that being said - i completely understand why this place is so many peoples favourites...
Read moreBest ice cream ever (2024) Edit! I have to share my ice cream parlor adventure! First, I tested my patience with a 40-minute wait in line. When I entered, I admired the superior performance of the two people inside in slowing down the flow of time. Perhaps this is part of the âLet the ice cream cool, let the customers warm upâ strategy, who knows? Letâs get to the ice cream⊠The basil ice cream was so dominant that I could hardly taste anything else. If youâre not a basil fan, I suggest you only get this ice cream to test your courage. The citron meringue ice cream was free in terms of consistency; it couldnât even hold on to my spoon, it was almost dying to melt away. The chocolate ice cream, on the other hand, gave the message âIâm different!â with its lumpy texture. Pistachio ice cream? It has nothing to do with the nostalgia of previous years; its color and taste make you miss the old days. The ice creams melted so quickly that while trying to take a photo, I found myself wondering, âWas it ice cream or an illusion?â Still, Iâll give it another shot this season. If the result doesnât change, Iâll officially rule that this ice cream parlor has become ordinary. After all, I believe everyone deserves a second chance⊠except...
Read moreI would recommend you to try this ice cream, itâs so natural and delicious! I like pistachioâs taste and strawberry. Also I tried here taste of âpassion fruit+ mint+ bananaâ- oh, itâs amazing! Enough fresh taste. Also what I noticed that fruit tastes are less milky than tastes like pistachios or other nutty flavor. Pistachios taste is enough sweet and salty and you feel taste of real pistachios. There is always a line for ice cream, but it moves quickly. It is a pity that there is no place to sit, but you can find something suitable around the corner. Also flavors can be different depending on day of...
