there are many things i LOVE about aryam. the flavours and textures are as near perfect as you can get, the gelato is absolutely delicious. though the size is slightly smaller than many other gelato places - good for some but might perhaps make it less worth it for others. but they don’t charge extra for the (absolutely delicious and perfectly salted) pistachio as several other places do (like snö). they also seem to be the only place alongside stikkinikki who make vegan gelato (that isn’t just sorbet) that they completely nail flavour and texture-wise. love love love! though, i do wish that they strained the berry skins/seeds out of their sorbets but that’s a personal preference.

my main gripe is that aryam don’t allow customers to sample the flavours - which doesn’t sound too deep really, however, as an autistic person certain textures and the flavours of certain ingredients are really difficult for me to handle and if i can’t taste something i’m unsure of beforehand i often miss out on something i could like - but can’t take a risk on if it doesn’t look like i can handle the texture etc. it’s a small issue but i’m sure it limits a lot of customers who are like me (i have skipped getting gelato once or twice because i couldn’t justify spending the money on something i didn’t know i would be able to eat)- even if it likely makes the staffs job easier (but as someone who also works at a gelato shop it’s usually worth it to allow customers to sample the flavours just because it helps them choose what they will enjoy the most but also it’s fun and customers appreciate the good service).

but with that being said - i completely understand why this place is so many peoples favourites...

Best ice cream ever (2024) Edit! I have to share my ice cream parlor adventure! First, I tested my patience with a 40-minute wait in line. When I entered, I admired the superior performance of the two people inside in slowing down the flow of time. Perhaps this is part of the “Let the ice cream cool, let the customers warm up” strategy, who knows? Let’s get to the ice cream
The basil ice cream was so dominant that I could hardly taste anything else. If you’re not a basil fan, I suggest you only get this ice cream to test your courage. The citron meringue ice cream was free in terms of consistency; it couldn’t even hold on to my spoon, it was almost dying to melt away. The chocolate ice cream, on the other hand, gave the message “I’m different!” with its lumpy texture. Pistachio ice cream? It has nothing to do with the nostalgia of previous years; its color and taste make you miss the old days. The ice creams melted so quickly that while trying to take a photo, I found myself wondering, “Was it ice cream or an illusion?” Still, I’ll give it another shot this season. If the result doesn’t change, I’ll officially rule that this ice cream parlor has become ordinary. After all, I believe everyone deserves a second chance
 except...

I would recommend you to try this ice cream, it’s so natural and delicious! I like pistachio’s taste and strawberry. Also I tried here taste of “passion fruit+ mint+ banana“- oh, it’s amazing! Enough fresh taste. Also what I noticed that fruit tastes are less milky than tastes like pistachios or other nutty flavor. Pistachios taste is enough sweet and salty and you feel taste of real pistachios. There is always a line for ice cream, but it moves quickly. It is a pity that there is no place to sit, but you can find something suitable around the corner. Also flavors can be different depending on day of...

This small shop is a real treat! It can get a bit busy—especially on nice days—so be prepared to wait around 15 minutes. But trust me, it's worth it. They offer unique and creative flavours you won’t find elsewhere—we tried the burnt butter and pistachio, and both were absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which adds to the charm of the place. Plus, the location is great for a quick stop while exploring the area. Highly recommend if you're looking to try something different and tasty!

Aryam Ice Cream offers a selection that is quite limited, but we decided to try the pistachio, cherry ricotta, chocolate, and almond flavors. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which was a plus. However, the lack of a seating area in or around the store was a drawback. Unfortunately, as soon as we stepped outside, the ice cream began to melt and drip rapidly! While the flavors were decent, they didn't quite live up to the hype, and overall, we were left wondering what all the fuss was about!
