Instead of feeling soothed, I felt unsettled. On top of that, my hair kept getting pulled, and it wasn’t handled with care. At other places, therapists will either tie it up for me if I forget a hair tie or at least move it gently out of the way. That little bit of consideration was completely missing here.

While I did appreciate the tea before and after, the plate of guava and watermelon at the end, and the rose petals in the room, those small gestures didn’t make up for how poor the actual massage was.
