I had really high hopes for this massage, but unfortunately, it fell far below expectations. There was no real technique or flow — it felt rushed, unthoughtful, and honestly a bit careless. During the Thai massage, the stretches weren’t extended to their full potential, which is disappointing given that’s one of the main reasons to choose this style of massage.
One thing that really bothered me was the lack of attention to comfort. They didn’t cover my eyes when I was turned over, which is usually one of the most relaxing and grounding parts of a massage. Instead of feeling soothed, I felt unsettled. On top of that, my hair kept getting pulled, and it wasn’t handled with care. At other places, therapists will either tie it up for me if I forget a hair tie or at least move it gently out of the way. That little bit of consideration was completely missing here.
I’ve been to Thailand many times and have my go-to massage spots, but we thought we’d try something new and a bit more “luxurious.” Sadly, that was a mistake. While I did appreciate the tea before and after, the plate of guava and watermelon at the end, and the rose petals in the room, those small gestures didn’t make up for how poor the actual massage was. The outfit provided was comfortable, but again — the core experience just wasn’t good.
What made it worse was the transactional feel. Being pushed to book a 90-minute session at the start and then practically begged for a review at the end completely ruined the experience. It felt desperate, not professional.
Honestly, I’d recommend skipping this place. The cheaper, more authentic spots do a far better job. They focus on real technique, care, and relaxation — you’ll walk out feeling rejuvenated, not...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Eszence Massage & Spa, and it was, without a doubt, one of the greatest spa experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment I stepped inside, I was warmly welcomed and felt completely at ease. The ambiance was perfect – serene with soothing music and calming scents that melted away my stress the moment I entered.
The massage was exceptional. The therapist was highly skilled, paying close attention to my preferences and adjusting the pressure seamlessly throughout the session. Every knot and bit of tension I had was carefully worked out, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.
I also had the pleasure of trying their nail spa services, and the level of detail was truly impressive. The staff was meticulous, ensuring my nails were flawless, and the high-quality products they used left my hands and feet feeling soft, smooth, and polished.
What makes Eszence Massage & Spa truly stand out is the care and thoughtfulness of their team. Every detail was handled with genuine attention – from offering refreshments to ensuring my comfort at every step. It wasn’t just a spa treatment; it felt like they genuinely cared about my well-being.
If you’re searching for a place where you’ll be pampered from head to toe, I can’t recommend Eszence Massage & Spa enough. I’m already looking forward to...
Read more500B Thai massage was below par. The 300B ones in the streets were much better than here. Same experience for my bf and my mom. None of us thought it was good. Mine was too mellow I could tell she took MANY breaks. My bf’s was pressing directly on his spine. My mom’s was not impressive she said. Conclusion: Don’t do massages here! Facial was good for 1250B but they don’t do hand extractions only a quick machine extraction. There were facial cleaners, exfoliation, face massage that felt like a punchy sand storm on my skin, steam, machine extraction, sheet face mask, some kinda fresh veggie mask maybe cucumber, a lengthy head massage on the same spot the whole time, then done. I booked a basic facial but when I arrived they asked me to change to a standard facial for no reason. I asked her why she said it’s better, just do the standard one. Fearing they might cut corners on all our services I agreed, but it almost doubled the price, which made me a bit uncomfortable. It was a good facial but not worth the stress. Wouldn’t come back and wouldn’t...
