The Casino Aruba at Hilton — Attraction in Netherlands

Small casino with some really rude staff. Waited 5 minutes for cashier to appear while numerous staff walked by and shrugged. Pit boss was extremely rude to a woman sitting next to me because she was texting at a 3 card poker table when there weren't any cards on the table. When I pulled out my phone to check the time the pit boss immediately started giving me a hard time too. I picked up my chips and walked, telling the pit boss she should think about how she talks to customers. I've been to casinos all over the world and this one was an experience like no other. Its a dump, go to one of the many other casinos where you won't be treated like a nuisance. This place was not fun, had 1 roulette table open, one 3 card poker table, and one blackjack table open. While lots of people stood around wanting to play... 3 pit bosses for 3 tables!?!?! Poker room was profitable but be warned, there are lots of local players whose language you may not understand and nobody stops them from chatting or using their phones at the table. Seriously, full on conversations on the phone to the point where the dealer keeps having to tell them thats its their turn to act. Casino environment is nice and comfortable. The dealers are friendly along with the pit bosses, however I’m extremely disappointed with their VIP Club. Every day of the week, they have a different special for members. Upon hitting the qualifying amount, I went to redeem my prize. They said due to it being 1 minute prior (10:59) to the end of time (11:00), that they couldn’t do it. As a repeat customer, I would’ve expected something to make this right. I talked to managers, supervisors, and pit- bosses and seems as if no one can honor it. It isn’t my fault that their machines don’t auto update… from now on I will not be coming back. I love this place!!! Palm Beach in Aruba feature the best restaurants and beaches on the island. The Hilton properties is located in what many say is the BEST area of that beach. There access to many of the restaurants and activities is second to none. You haven't seen a sunset until you've seen it from the beaches of Aruba and the Hilton features one of the most spacious beach front property on that side of the island.
