Wonderful venue for dinning . Located in heart of Dubai , very easy to reach and they do have complimentary valet parking. Thematic restaurant combining Asian mythology and modernity , which creates a memorable experience. Very clean and smelling good , the open kitchen is sparking clean and very organized. From beginning we were welcomed with a big smile by the receptionist where she accompanied to our table. Our waiter welcomed us immediately and started to share the recommendation from the menu (based on our request). Mr Maxim (Restaurant Manager) came to say hi and we had a long conversation about the restaurant, cuisine , decor and so on , very knowledgeable , professional and he answered all our questions. We found out that behind the scenes was so much work , all details have specific meanings , name of restaurant “Alba” which means sunrise , combination of European and Asia elements and culture. These elements can be seen even in the mocktails. Finally we ordered some maki with salmon and avocado , asparagus and zucchini salad as starting our dinner and all was delicious. For the main we opt for Robata grilled salmon , which was very well cooked , inside juicy , moist and tender, very flavored, served with side salad (with zucchini)-was exquisite. The ambience subtle , relaxed, just the perfect vibe to unwind. The place offers ground level seating and serpentine stairs leading to the seating on the floor above . One would have the views of the live kitchen at the ground floor by the expert team led by Head Chef Minho from South Korea .

The restaurant is manager and run under the outstanding leadership of Manager Ivan . It was great to interact and share few thoughts around the place .

Our table was taken care by Vikas . Vikas great service standards. Was observant , informative and warmly attended to us throughout the evening.

FOOOOOODDDDD …. Refreshing tastes. Dishes inspired by China , Japan & S.Korea , curated and made drool worthy under Chef Minho.

We started with Spicy Edmame , Prawn Tempura Makai , followed by Tiger Prawns & Ramen for Mains and concluded with Alba Mochi & Matcha Tiramisu with Umami Cafe Latte & Cappucino.

We relished our meal & each dish . Makai , soft , flavorful, done with a twist, made without the seaweed 10/10
