I recently had the pleasure of dining at Di MARE, an Italian restaurant in Dubai, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was enchanted by the warm and inviting ambiance, reminiscent of an authentic Italian trattoria.

The food was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish, from the appetizers to the desserts, was a masterpiece. The homemade pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces were rich and flavorful, – a true reflection of the restaurant’s name, which means “of the sea.”

What truly elevated the experience, however, was the impeccable service. Our waitress, Jonna, was outstanding. She was not only attentive and professional but also genuinely warm and friendly. Jonna went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable evening, offering excellent recommendations and making us feel truly welcomed.

Exceptional Dining Experience at Dimare – Thanks to Jonathan!

During my visit to Dimare in Dubai, I had the pleasure of being served by Jonathan, who truly elevated my dining experience. From the moment I arrived, his warm hospitality, attentiveness, and knowledge of the menu made a lasting impression.

I enjoyed the lamb chops, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked to tender perfection, as well as the lasagna, which was rich, cheesy, and bursting with flavor. To accompany my meal, I had a refreshing strawberry lemonade and a tropical pineapple juice, both of which were deliciously fresh and well-balanced. To top it all off, the mango shisha was smooth, flavorful, and the perfect way to unwind.

Jonathan’s service was impeccable—he made excellent recommendations, ensured everything was to my liking, and provided a friendly yet professional touch throughout the meal. His attentiveness and positive attitude made the experience even more enjoyable.

Utterly Disappointing Experience at Di Mare Restaurant - A So-Called Italian Establishment

Upon visiting Di Mare in Dubai Downtown, I expected an authentic Italian dining experience, only to be met with profound disappointment. The claim of this being an Italian restaurant is completely unfounded. My friend and I, the only actual Italians in the restaurant, were subjected to mediocre food that lacked any hint of genuine Italian culinary craftsmanship.

To add insult to injury, when I inquired about the presence of an Italian chef, supposedly to lend authenticity to their kitchen, the waitress affirmed his presence. However, when I expressed a desire to meet him, she conveniently disappeared. Persistent in my quest for authenticity, I approached her again after a half-hour only to receive a dismissive reply that he had already left. How convenient!

Let me be clear, Di Mare is not what it claims to be. Do not be fooled by its name or its promises of Italian cuisine. It's nothing more than a scam dressed up as an Italian restaurant....
