The kimchi box you see, was purchased in mid June. Expiry date indicates August. However upon investigation you can see that the dates marked with white eraser reveal production date as 10 January 2020 and expiry March 2020.
The item was sold already expired and harmful for consumption. What caught my attention was after opening the box, strong yeast and moldy smell. Clearly the food is off and not to be consumed and can cause food poisoning or death.
Perhaps Dubai Food and Health authorities should investigate whether the product expiry date alteration are more common...
