The Club — Restaurant in Dubai

Ruined my day and all vacations…

The club has a new dress code policy that only allows elegantly dressed people to go to the happy hour (16.30-19.00). The people who are dressed in the simple style to go to the beach or pool after are being sent back.

The way of communicating the message about the dress-code is disrespectful and the dressing evaluation is very subjective (no photo examples on what should the person look like, the camber just evaluates you at the entrance).

Manager is quite indigenous to the problems or misunderstanding of the clients. Zero availability on collecting clients feedback on their new policy, nevertheless it has two strong disadvantages: Following their dress-code would mean to skip eventing swimming time. At 18.00 the beach closes, therefore there is no time to change clothes. So there is no possibility to go to the beach after, if you have an idea on going to this restaurant before The dress-code is not aligned at all with the nature of this place. It is a normal place to eat something and go out: no menu, no main courses, no high quality service, no elegant environment. In other moments of the day the place is fully available for people dressed in any ways, but just “Happy Hour!” is for some reason special. There are many people with children for whom this policy is clearly a problem. No relaxing...
