Just like others , this was the worst experience I have had with hotels ever. They are not really a hotel. I booked 3 months in advance, when I security in the building said Staycae says there is no booking. I contacted Expedia because I booked through them and they were able to contact someone at Staycae. By the way, if you call them directly they won’t answer. They only care about the booking sites. Then Expedia was able to convince them to give us a room which Staycae now claims is a last minute booking. They charge me a deposit and now the security guy in the building doesn’t have a key to get us in. The digital code they sent me through their “app” doesn’t work. I don’t think it ever works for anyone. They look for the key for two hours and then finally me and my little children and family in. I booked and PAYED for a 3 bedroom. This is a one bedroom. Staycae tells me they don’t have 3 bedrooms anywhere, just 1 and 2 bedrooms. There is 1 bed and we are 5 people. I sleep on the floor and see cockroaches running around , most things are broken in the “room”. I message Staycae in the morning and they say I have to talk to the booking department which is closed. I book another hotel which is an actual hotel and leave early. Next day Staycae is contacted by Expedia and Staycae now suddenly has a 3 bedroom room available and wants us to move to it. I already moved to a different hotel, not going to risk going to a potential dump of a room again. They Staycae guy has the nerves to say “so are you declining our offer?” , when I came back home, they told Expedia after I complained to Expedia that they will refund our money for the days that we didn’t stay. And as expected they didn’t . I am thinking someone from Staycae or paid by Staycae will respond to this message and tell me how sorry they are and they regret this and regret that and portray themselves as a legit company. They do do anything beyond that. They steal the money shamelessly and will continue to steal money from people and pay people for fake positive reviews. I just wish I never booked with them and hope that others don’t fall into this scam. Staycae - stay away, really really far away. I am surprised that a company like Expedia would allow scammers on their site. I am surprised the the Dubai tourism dept would allow such blatant scamming going on in their city. STAY AWAY FROM Staycae. The dirt cheap prices advertised are because you won’t have a room and if you do it will be so bad you will regret ever coming across their ad. My parents booked for one week in December 2021. They were told they would receive their security deposit of 1000dhs back within two weeks of check out. We contacted them over email and heard nothing until I phoned the company from a UAE number. The company told us the deposit had 'bounced back' when trying to return it, to which the bank had no recollection of the payment being returned. Staycae told us it was an issue on their end and we could collect the money in cash from their office. - My parents had already left by this point, so if you don't live in the UAE you would be unable to get your deposit back at all.
Finally in March, my parents visited again. We contacted the company to meet to receive the deposit. We were sent on a wild goose chase across Dubai, telling us we were in the wrong building after being given the address via email from Staycae. A lot of staff are 'new' and don't understand how to help - I imagine they have a high staff turnover as they are as bad with their staff as they are with their customers.
We arrived at DAMAC Paramount (next to the SLS building) where we had to wait another half an hour with no one answering our calls. A young man came and asked if we had come for our deposit back (it seems many others must be in this situation) the man then made us wait outside while he sat and ate his lunch. After knocking again on the door in rage the man came back out and handed us 1000dhs in cash. He never took our name, apologised, never asked for a reference number or made us sign anything?! We could have been anyone - all whilst still chewing his lunch with zero remorse.
We argued that this service was disgusting, a scam and were told "Sorry I'm new here."
BEFORE CHECKING IN My parents tried to contact the company continuously for three days before they were due to check in to organise their stay, no contact was returned until 11:30am on the day of check in, when they were asked to pay for the apartment over Whatsapp.
They were met by an Indian gentleman named Mr Mfie in reception of the building who was an hour late. He took payment in full plus the deposit and told them the room wasn't ready and left. The staff in the building then presented a room key half an hour later and told them that Mr Mfie had left. They were then left to find their own way to the apartment with no contact from Mr M*fie again.
From checking out on the 1st December it has taken 3.5 months, a lot of driving around Dubai and wasted time just to receive our deposit back. Please consider this if you are booking with Staycae or deciding to list your apartment with them,...

I booked with Stay Cae through Airbnb upon arrival to Damac Prive my check in time which was 3 pm. I was told that I was not allowed to check in earlier because they had to clean the room I was receiving. Me and the host went up to the room and the room was not clean even at check in time. I had to wait nearly 1 hour and a half before I received my room at 4:30 pm. More over the room cleaning was rushed all the kitchen wear had food stains on it and sometimes residue of food which made me have to clean everything before using it. Once I checked into the room i quickly came to realise their is no hot water in the bathroom or kitchen. I hassled them for nearly 5 days showering in cold water before they asked me to move into the Damac Towers Paramount, this was the compensation they offered me as they couldn’t fix the hot water at Damac Prive. I was happy at first until I checked into the apartment. The apartment had no kitchen equipment aside from basic things, cutlery, oven, pot which was old and scratched up and a pan. The kitchen had no coffee machine, no microwave. No hair dryer and no iron or clothes hanger in the apartment either. Which I was okay with until I came to use the washing machine. The washing machine every-time it was used would spill water all over the kitchen floor, I messaged two of the hosts to get this fixed during my stay in which they ignored my messages and didn’t even bother to get it fixed.I spent my 2 week stay in that apartment mopping up the floor with the bathroom towels they had provided because a mop wasn’t available either and sweeping styrofoam foam that the washing machine would release every time it spilled water.
If it wasn’t for them moving me into a bigger apartment I would honestly be giving them a 1 star review. Their also seems to be no communication between the hosts themselves and from the host to the guests. I even asked if I could check out 1 hour late which they didn’t want to accommodate because they had to “clean” the apartment which I found very ironic.
