Honestly, I hate to leave bad reviews. It's very very rare I do, I always give 5/5. However, I can't express my disappointment with this branch of Cartier, I planned to purchase engagement ring for my partner to propose and I know my partner being a huge fan of Cartier this was my first choice.
Before arriving at the store, I checked out online designs, prices and products to get an idea of what I wanted to get, i arrive at the store and was greeted by the friendly host, and explained I wanted to look at rings and he said a gentleman will assist me shortly.
So far so good, I was having a look around when I was approached by the sales associate who had been assigned to me by the host. He couldnt have made his disappointment clearer, he seemed bored, tired, and almost annoyed he'd been assigned me (for the record I came to the mall straight from work and was wearing my uniform) so I can only assume he's judged me from what I am wearing and already written me off as either a time waster or maybe not a super big spender, at the time the store was busy and it was evident at the same time i walked in an obviously rich Russian couple were just ahead of me and some others with lots of high end branded shopping bags, he seemed frustrated hed got me and that he hadn't been helping one of these clients instead as he was totally more focused on them and looking over to see what his colleagues were showing them, I felt he was trying to drive me out quick as possible. Short 1 word responses, yes and no, I ask questions just shrugs shoulders, no eye contact nothing, at one point I got my phone out to show him photo of the products I wanted to see and he pulled his phone out and started reading messages on his phone and smiling (only time he did) at whoever messaged him, and I show my screen to ask do you have any of these I can look at? He was fixed on his phone to the point I don't think he even heard me speak and I had to say "hello, excuse me" and wave and and gave me attitude, he looked up from phone, said no and looked back down at his phone. Again i say what about this one as i point another photo on my phone, he Just reached into a counter and pulled out the wrong ring and said this is it, I said sir this is totally different to the photo I showed you and he looked down on his phone again like I'm invisible. After a few minutes of having to almost felt like begging to see the rings, and being treated like I am not worthy of his time and can get better commission off someone else, i gave up and said "ill just leave it and go somewhere else" he didn't even react or say bye he turned right around and he walked off, such shocking attitude from Cartier staff. I can't believe, this man shouldn't even be working in a budget supermarket let along high end retail, and I say that as an area retail manager myself. Appalling dismisivness.
There is a Chopard store directly opposite this Cartier store, i hadn't even planned to go in there and had my heart set on Cartier, i walked in there and the staff gave me a total difference experience. I dropped 22K aed in a matter of minutes there. Everyone i have since told have told me to go to the Fashion Avenue branch instead. To be honest I think I'll just leave it, I haven't had this problem outside of Dubai before at other branches, always been helpful. Just a rogue member of staff who shouldn't be working there. This was on 19th May, Arabic client...

I have been a loyal Cartier client for many years, and I can confidently say that my experience has been truly exceptional thanks to one person: Habiba at Cartier Dubai Mall.
She has guided me through some of the most important purchases of my life from my engagement ring, to my watches, to my jewellery sets and many other creations. Each time, her advice has been so thoughtful, so precise, that I have never once regretted a single choice. She always finds the right words, the right suggestions, and most importantly she listens.
Over the years, I’ve occasionally accompanied family, friends or tried to work with other advisors, but the difference is striking. Sadly, many lack the elegance, the manners, and the deep product knowledge that such a prestigious maison requires. Too often, there’s a mechanical or careless approach, lacking that essential sense of luxury and respect for the client.
Habiba, on the other hand, embodies everything Cartier should represent. She is refined, intuitive, generous with her time, and always makes me feel valued. She doesn’t just sell, she curates meaningful experiences. At the end of each purchase, she personally walks me to the door, hands me the Cartier bag with grace, and genuinely congratulates me, telling me to enjoy the creation. These small gestures mean everything they turn a transaction into a memory.
In my opinion, Habiba should be training the Cartier staff not only in Dubai, but across the region and even in Europe. Her professionalism, emotional intelligence, and sense of detail are unmatched in any luxury boutique I’ve visited worldwide.
I am absolutely available to be contacted should Cartier wish to receive further feedback. It would be my pleasure to support someone who has consistently brought excellence, elegance, and warmth to every moment I’ve...
Read moreI have been a loyal client of Cartier for many years, and Reem has been my trusted advisor throughout. She has consistently provided impeccable service, going above and beyond with every purchase I’ve made. Whether it’s her expert advice, attention to detail, or the care she takes in ensuring everything is perfect, I have always felt incredibly well taken care of. Reem’s professionalism and dedication make every Cartier experience feel truly special. Her customer service is simply unmatched.
Unfortunately, I had a less than ideal experience with another advisor, Albertine, during one particular purchase. That day, I couldn’t make it to Reem’s boutique at Bloomingdale’s, and ended up being advised by Albertine. The whole experience was disappointing. I was given incorrect information regarding a watch I was interested in, and after the purchase, Albertine went silent, forcing me to follow up multiple times. It felt like I was simply being sold a watch with no real aftercare. She didn’t make any effort to search for what I was looking for, and even failed to locate my client account, resulting in me having two accounts—which Reem later had to merge for me. Albertine told me the model I had seen online wasn’t available, but when Reem stepped in, she quickly sorted everything out, exchanged the watch, and ordered the one I originally wanted.
Reem’s exceptional service once again saved the day. Her dedication to making sure my experience was flawless reminds me why I always go to her. Unfortunately, the experience with Albertine left me feeling let down, but Reem more than made up for it, as she...
