We took our sons to rock reef for the first time this weekend for my youngest son’s birthday treat, they both had a brilliant time. All the staff are very helpful, good safety briefing with clear instructions given. There is a good selection of different climbing walls, I loved the fact you could easily see what walls are in use from the padded mat that goes down on the floor when you climb, it really easy to spot which walls were free without having to constantly be looking up. We didn’t have to wait long periods of time for any of the walls, it was very well organised. They decided they also wanted to do the pier cave (and wanted me to join them too!) warning for parents - it is very narrow inside the tunnels! Just the one time around was plenty enough for me đŸ€Ł they enjoyed going around a few more times without me, but didn’t do it for a full half hour. Thank you rock reef for the 1/2 price locals offer you have running, we really appreciated it! The boys are already asking when we can return, so we will be back again soon.

I don't normally muster the energy to write reviews but I felt compelled. The staff were just exceptional. My kid had been long awaiting the moment he turned 4 so he could go climbing and he wasn't disappointed. We used the 50% off discount code to do climbing plus cave and another ÂŁ3 when there to do the big drop slide. The facilities are great and for the price we paid very reasonable but maybe at full price I might've cringed a bit. Lucky I only have 1 kid. The real perk however was the wonderful experience the staff gave us. From high fives at the check in desk to funny jokes during tutorial and words of encouragement and genuine warmth when my kid was being prepped for what was to him, an epic adventure. They were just all so lovely! I really can't praise the team enough. I'm sure on a scorching hot Friday afternoon there's many other things they'd rather be doing but it didn't show. Fantastic customer service. Thank you all so much x

Did the high ropes with my niece and it was great fun. Got to go around the course a few times which was good as otherwise it would have been quite a quick visit. Staff really friendly and helpful. Defiantly recommend and good to do on a day when its not an outside sort of day. Booked for 10.30 and it was nice and quiet, so a good time to go. The High ropes are right by the café so great if you have someone who does not want to go on them as they can easily see you from the café. Which was hard to tell from the website!

The activities themselves were fantastic — my kids absolutely loved the climbing, caves, slide, high ropes, and leap of faith! Everything was very clean, and the team leader did a brilliant job explaining how the climbing wall ropes worked. However, the general attitude of some staff really let the experience down. From the start, it felt like they didn’t want to be there. My children were both excited and a little nervous, but the staff made no effort to engage with them. Whenever I asked a question, it felt as though I was being a nuisance. This was an expensive day out, so it was disappointing to see such a lack of enthusiasm. My children, who are both autistic, were particularly excited about the caves. It was very quiet when we arrived, and they wanted to do the caves first. Instead of explaining clearly why it would be better to do them last, we were met with grumpy faces and eye rolls. Even after I explained it would be easier for them to go first while the caves were empty, the staff still seemed unwilling to accommodate us. Some staff were quite short in their responses to both my children and me. I appreciate that they probably get the same questions many times a day, but customer service is still a crucial part of their role — especially when working with children. That said, the staff leader was amazing, and the lady at the front desk was also brilliant. I did notice that as the morning went on, staff attitudes improved — possibly because a higher-ranking member of staff was on-site. I’d strongly recommend retraining the team on customer service — at the very least, they should appear to enjoy their jobs and working with children. We will return at some point, as my kids loved the activities, but I really hope the staff are more accommodating and...

Paid £96 for my 3 kids for the adventure tickets, led to believe by the website they could access all of it. My youngest is autistic and when we walked in and he saw the cave, that’s what he wanted to do, but we were scheduled to do that right at the end. It seemed like we were an inconvenience asking for him to do that first. Then when he got stuck in the cave screaming and crying I asked to go in and get him and was told I couldn’t because I hadn’t paid for me to go in there! Tried to go on the highline and the girl organising that was condescending to my kids who were already nervous and it put them off to the point they didn’t do it. Nearly every member of staff I spoke to for assistance told me to ask someone else. Girl on the front desk too busy chatting we were definitely not her problem. Site says 1 adult can supervise 3 kids under 16, and on the entrance were told they can put their hand up if needed help and staff will help them clip/unclip. This was not the case. The only member of staff that was helpful and polite to my kids was the tall dark haired lad with the spongebob socks (didn’t catch a name). The rest either don’t like their job or don’t like kids. We left after 45minutes despite paying for...

Wow. These people are ace. So is the zip wire. We went to face my fear of heights. We arrived everything was organised and instructors were very informative. Now I was really scared. So half way up the stairs I stopped. The instructor came down and helped me up. He (I think was called Alex) just kept distracting me from the height and told me to look at the view. He said it was the best in Bournemouth (I agree) he clipped me on at the top whist he said about saftey briefing. because he could see I was scared I think I would have bolted back down if he hadn't. It must be odd having a stranger grab you because they're scared but he wasn't rude and just reassured me. A girl then came up training with him who was just as attentive. Then I zipped, then I went again, and now i want to go back and take some other friends too. So instead of writing me off these guys helped me with my fear. Thank you would recommend to anyone especially if scared or not these people will not make you feel like an idiot and they'll reassure you and help you with your fear whilst adding humour and great...
