Offshore Cafe — Restaurant in England

What a bad joke! We ordered food and soft drinks at 12 30, they pour first drinks, and they completely FORGET about us for the next 35 minutes.!

When we ask what's happening they didn't say a thing , after another few minutes I said this is not possible, and i've asked to speak with the manager. A girl from Poland pretending to be the manager, with a boss attitude bring us the food, obviously cold... and she said they where calling us but that's not true as me and my mate we'be been there waiting ....anyways.. I asked polite if she can swap the drinks as they get warm but she laugh into my face , she said no, then I asked for an refound, same thing she said no, because she doesn't want to... Security arrives, but obviously he said he gets paid by them and can't do nothing about. In this country seems that some people think they own the places of they are a 50 pence extra/hour as a manager. I won't stop here and will look forward to.make a complaint, as this was inappropriate. How in earth they keep us waiting for 35 minutes and lying us, then make us feel like last people on earth. I wish someone teach this women a lesson, they are looking costumer...

We were really disappointed with our experience here. There was a queue which was expected BUT while in queue, a staff member from the kitchen slammed a sign down regarding a half an hour wait, then commented to another member of staff about the rush. I shrugged it off as I worked in catering and know it's hard. We placed our order and was sent to sit and wait to be called for hot drink and food. During this time I realised id been iber charged nearly £7 and they "forgot" we had meal deals. I waited for the drink while obtaining a refund but nothing. When questioned they assumed I'd left. Anyway, we waited for the food which was within the 30 mins, but unfortunately all 3 hot dogs were barely warm, the buns were split in 2 parts making it difficult to eat and the food was served in boxes, rather than plates. I assumed there was a problem in the kitchen so never questioned it, but over all these things combined made it a really poor experience. The staff are lacking in customer service skills and we're clearly unhappy to be there. I never questioned anything besides the refund as I felt really uncomfortable even asking for a refund for...

We have used this place frequently for the past couple of years, and have experienced mistakes by staff on several occasions, but today was the final visit. My wife placed an order which was wrongly delivered, and the waiter was apologetic and took away the food to have it replaced with what she ordered. This caused my wife to look at the bill and she noticed that she had been overcharged by 40p, which is not a fortune, but there is a principle here so she went to the desk to point it out and came back fuming at the treatment she had received, long story but she had eventually told them to forget it as they were making things difficult. As we were eating the manageress approached us, no apology, and told us the till didn't enable them to carry out a simple refund, which I told her was ridiculous.
